Sorry Strider but I really am struggling with this. :) Where do I create this file? Does the micro sd card need to be in the camera?
The instructions state to create the file, as you advise but with no = ,no mention of a space for am or mention of "enter", in Notepad, I don't have Notepad on this p.c. It's on the XP machine but after attempting to following the camera's instructions to the letter the date doesn't change. Then to save to desktop and drag the TAG.TXT file to the "root directory" of the camera. There's no apparent root directory in the camera? There's a DCIM folder on the sd card.
Maybe I should be asking all this in the "techie" section and not hi-jacking this thread?

Root directory is the first main directory, the root directory of your C drive is C:\, the root directory of your D drive is D:\

Find the drive letter of the camera/card and go to the start menu > run > type in the drive letter followed by :

Problem is, they make PC's too user friendly, they put all your documents in one folder, images in another, etc etc etc and the result is nobody has a clue where anything really is.

As I say, i'll try to find the research, but im sure even then you all think your so perfect.

And for the record, I have very fast reaction times.... The variation between 21 years old and 70+ years old is something like 500ms, so we all have very similar reaction times. Certainly enough to be considered in braking distances.... But as I say unless your prepared to test yourself in your own car then you really should shut up.

You know what im saying is correct, but as per usual you've all gotten up on your soap box to talk a load of nonsense and we all know if this wasn't me you'd soon be changing your opinion.

    We've seen the videos.

With no visual or audio clues as to what the driver is doing..... What you can't see, you can't judge.

    No we don't.

    .
As I've already stated, I have tested my emergency braking on many occasions.
and we all know if this wasn't me you'd soon be changing your opinion
    .
My, haven't you got a high opinion of yourself.
I don't know you, I've never met you, and as far as I can remember, I've not read many other posts that you've written, so why would I care that this particular one is by you?
And for the record, I have very fast reaction times...
No faster than the majority of people using this site.
After all, didn't you state that
so we all have very similar reaction times.

What, you mean apart from the video and the audio you publish?

You don't, but nobody is gonna come in here and saying anything different because of this pack of toothless wolves.

Im 30 years old, im right on top of the lowest reaction time bracket. I recently retired from representing the UK in online gaming, I have a hand/eye reaction time of 130-180ms (not quite beating an F1 driver). Typically foot/eye reaction times are 3% higher.

So unfortunately, I really am faster than you.

    Without reading the lot;

when folks have formulated the opinion that you are talking garbage, don't go out and buy a video camera to confirm it,

Come on admit it, you want it to go dogging don't you............

Seriously I can see that this would be a good idea, it would only take one accident where it proved you as not at fault to make it worthwhile.

A lot of pedal cyclists do it these days, but then they put the videos on YoutTube and give it the bigun, and their cyclist mates say how bad drivers are etc, etc. But when you watch the videos carefully the cyclists seem to have put themselves in dangerous positions and actually appear to be trying to antagonise car and van drivers, a bit like those knobs that try to start fights when there is a Copper nearby.

As far as Strider, I have watched some of the links somebody posted up a while ago and to be honest he very often was guilty in some way, especially when he shot up the !!!! if the Mini.

If Strider wants to post his driving and put his position as the wronged innocent then he has to accept that people with ten years driving as an advanced driver, such as myself, will eventually view them, and maybe have a much different opinion than they have.

Though in the ones I viewed there was at leats one occasion when Strider wasn't in the wrong, but as we weren't in the car we only have one perspective to view the incident.

However the verbal abuse delt out does seem to reduce Striders position as "Innocent Road Captain".

He strikes me as the kind of driver that always thinks he has the right of way due to the way he has read the Highway Code, the Highway Code needs to be used with a certain amount of common sense and consideration that you are not the only driver on the road.

As an example the Highway Code says you should give way to Emergency Vehicles, it doesn't say you should knock down a pedestrian or hit the car in front to do so though does it!

And you know this with 100% certainty do you?
I'm not saying it's not true, but without me being tested, how could you possibly state this as fact?
Surely my reaction times are very similar to yours. After all, didn't you state that
