she hopefully will go next year, shes text me to say she really likes it , her top choices are birmingham and coventry although shes looking at a few more .
we have family in bromsgrove so not too far away if she needed anything

DD is hoping to go this year but tbh is up against it as she has very bad dyslexia and goes to pieces in exams.

I keep popping on here today to see if anything about the wedding. Im stuck at home today as feeling distinctly under the weather which is apt as it has been pouring with rain. However I did manage to get out and pick some peas to go with my lunch and they were delicious:T:T:T

    Hugs xx

Can someone explain the star and reward system to me? How many posts do you need for each reward? Many thanks xx

    Afternoon all,

Has been a rain and shine day to-day, had a call from my friend this morning to say that his small boy died this morning....I feel so sorry for them and guilty as I can't be with them, its 400 round trip and I have to be here to go to Sardinia to-morrow. I think that it has been a blessed relief to them all as there was very little hope from the beginning....must be a hard thing for them, but they are a very strong unit and I'm sure will cope...glad I never had to do it, not sure I could have done.

Not sure what time the handfasting was, its lovely and sunny here now but we have had thunder and lightning earlier.

I still have to do a few bits in the garden, make beds for visitors I won't see next weekend and do a general tidy round in the house. Sprinkled hob with bicarb last night and washed it off before getting dressed this morning....looks as if someone gives a d**n!

We took DD4 and bf out for lunch, really lovely if expensive....she will only be 30 once and is very good to us both. Didn't have pudding as we were all too full, so feeling slightly virtuous on that score!

Probably won't get on now until 27th, in the meantime take care of yourselves and each other

meanmarie his suffering is over poor little chap and now his families begins sadly .I will remember him when I have my nightly chat to the Big Guy tonight I can't imagine what they are going through at the moment .

Pretty poor day weatherwise here on/off showers and some really heavy all day Took my DGS to the school fete and we dodged in and out of the rainshowers. The boys love going to fetes as they have a go on most things and one of them won a football and the little guy won a big stuffed teddy which he has clutched to himself ever since.
Just about to go for a game of freezer roulette for dinner tonight I shall shut my eyes and see what gets pulled out.Tomorrow I shall be at Dds and I will take her some flowers to cheer her up as not only is it father's day and she misses her Dad dreadfully still but its the anniversary of her losing her 5th baby. She had to go through having him even though the Drs had told her there was no heartbeat. She has never forgotten her little lad even though she went on to have Mikey a year later .So I will try to cheer her up and the boys know that their Mum's always a bit sad at this time of the year so she will get lots of extra cuddles.
I hope all has gone to plan for HH and she has had a smashing day
Right I'm off to do battle with the freezer
    Take care all

Been up to Birminham for a meeting today so quite out of the loop. Will try to catch up after we've eaten. DS has done a chicken casserole for us - lovely! Hope all has gone well for HH and Minder today. Looking forward to seeing the pics.
    Take care.
