    Morning everyone,

Hester, have a wonderful day, will be thinking of you and can't wait to see the pictures.

Essex girl, don't overdo it today, as you say ,you should listen to your body.

Today, I have to go to the supermarket as I haven't been for a fortnight and there is no food in the house. I shall be writing a very careful list.

DD1 and DD2 have ballet and then DD1 is off to town with her friends, she is like me, she only spends money if she really has to!
DS has guitar and then he is off to the 20/20 cricket.

A quiet day for me and OH hopefully, we have been rushing round so much recently we have not really seen each other.

Tea will be decided by what is on offer at the supermarket.

    Have a lovely day everyone.:)

HH have a fabulous day honey and the very best wishes to you both.
I was up with the larks this morning as I had lots of paperwork to sort out and shred. The I have just spent a happy 10 minutes chatting to the chap on the Transport for London phone to change my no. plate from my old car to my new car as I get exemption as I am registered disabled.very jolly chap he was as well.makes a nice change from the faceless folk you normally get .Then I also had to change the no.s on the Dartford crossing badge as well .Its a bit of a palaver but all the paperwork is now up to date and I got rid of lots of junk at the same time .The paper that hasn't got my name on I have cut in half and put into my scrap paper box which I use quite a bit of (nothing gets wasted in my house :):))
I enjoyed my expensive chop last night and also my apple and parsnip soup I have enough to last me well into next week which is good as it streeetches out a meal a bit.Hopefully I will not have much more shopping to buy this month as my fridge is fairly full now.
Today I am picking up the three youngest grandsons and we are off to my eldest DDs school Fete(fingers crossed the weather stays dry )Its a bit of a watery looking sun at the moment but art least its sun and dry.
right having done all my paper chores I am now off to have some breakfast I have some bagels that are just in need of toast that i dug out from the freezer so its cream cheese and bagels and lots of coffee for me this morning
Have a great day everyone whatever you may be getting up to
    Cheers JackieO xx

Morning all, good luck Hester and Minder! Hope you have lots of:bdaycake:

    and :kisses3: and :smileyhea

So...I completed the stew and very nice it is as well. Slept until 1.30 this afternoon  which was slightly more than I was anticipating. Bread got an extra long initial rise, and was finally in the oven at about 6.30 pm this evening. I used thriftlady's recipe - a new one for me, so hopefuly it'll taste good! :)

My Kenwood Chef arrived today (an old KM201), just in time for me to do rolls and lots of cheese grating for a light supper tomorrow night at Church. :j I had to buy the slicer/shredder which is ridiculously expensive over here, but I'm looking forward to lots and lots and lots of coleslaw and pizza toppings over the next year or so! It should at least save me some time if not any money. :rotfl:

Minder: don't forget your cosiest slippers. You don't want cold feet now, do you? :p
