Hi,
Firstly, you'll have all seen me around, but am married now, but having a snoop as I miss it! lol. I wanted to just put a note on here as I was following this and really felt for the OP. However, I just wanted to say, this lady does really sound truely sorry, truely up sh$t creek without a paddle by the sounds, and sounds like she is trying to look after herself and x2 kids with the income from the business. I don't know whether she is trying to ull at heart strings as I don't know her, but lets think about giving too many negative comments? Everyone posted on here pretty sharpish with complaints, but where are the praise for her works? Surely although she didnt get the delivery on time and perhaps should have got in touch, she did make your days with her toppers making that finishing touch as they look to have arrived on time?
Maybe what I'm trying to say is MSE has always been a forum that helps people and she does sound like she was having a tough time.
Perhaps the suns gone to my head over the last week but perhaps we could also let her know that the toppers were received and that she didnt spoil anyones day? XXMarried the lovely Mr P 28th April 2012. Little P born 29th Jan 20140 -
This thread is a year old. I doubt any of the original people will be returning to look at it, as their weddings have been and gone ages ago.
Kerry, it sounds like you have been in a horrible position, but I really don't think the posts you have put on here sound very professional at all. If I was thinking about ordering from you and then googled and found this thread - the posts you have added to the end of it really would have made me even less likely to order from you, rather than making me want to do it.
I mean this in the nicest possible way - perhaps it would be better to just write very simply that you had a number of severe family problems at the time that this thread was created, and you are sorry that the customers were under stress due to late deliveries leading up to their weddings, but that they did all receive the product in time for the big day and you are now back on your feet, have taken on board the complaints made, will be realistic about delivery times, etc. I just think the way you have expressed yourself sounds so unprofessional - particularly telling the internet which medication you're on! - and even though I know it's all true, it might be better to keep a cool calm professional front?
Hope you don't take offence to this - I truly feel for you - and am only saying this to try and help!0 -
I felt the need to add to this forum as it seems that the problems haven't resolved themselves over a year on. Unfortunately, I didn't do my homework before placing an order with Boogiebaby's and now I am in the same position as everyone else on this thread.
I completely understand that people with businesses are still human with as busy and challenging lives as everyone else but if you are entering into a service industry, especially one as important as the wedding industry, you need to have certain standards. That means keeping in contact with your customers to advise of any issues. Making statements about the reasons why orders have been late after the event is not good enough and stating that people have still received their orders 2wk before is factually incorrect.
I myself have had no response to messages i've sent via email, telephone, text or contact form and my wedding is now just 1 week away. I doubt very much that I will receive my order now and like some of the people on here, I will have an empty space on top of my cake. I am also £128 out of pocket, which is more to the point.
Yes, the designs are great and yes, they are the most competitively priced on the market, but I wish that I had spent more money and actually had something to show for it. I will be taking legal advice on this as despite the issues this woman has been facing, this is stealing and is totally unacceptable.0 -
I have reported your comment as you have commited libel and I shall be taking legal action on this, yes I have had lots of problems and yes my customer service isnt the greatest but I am not a thief, i am taking legal action against you.0

Have you given MrsCToBe a refund? If not and you have taken her money and not provided her with anything in return I think most people would call that stealing. Its no way to run a business, if you cant for fulfil orders, dont take the money. Weddings can be stressful enough without chasing suppliers who dont come up with the goods. I understand everyone has problems but I have to say your unprofessional replies on here would only put me off from buying from you.0 -
Please note Kerry, that this is a public forum and as such we have the right to express opinions about what is brought up on here. Occasionally, this gets a bit heated. As you have been going through the forum, you should see that you have had a few unsatisfied customers. Yes, they received their items in the end, but your level of customer service seems to be pretty appalling. I would imagine that previous posters would not be so irate if you had gotten back to them in a timely manner about the goods that they had paid for in advance. May I suggest that you seek to improve your communication with your present customers rather than checking up internet forums.0

TBH from reading this thread your totally unprofessional and shouldn't be in business. Clearly you didn't learn from last years mistakes and carrying on taking the mick out of people.
What do you want them to think when you clearly don't answer the phone emails texts or letters that people have sent to you.
If you have that many problems maybe you should give up the business if your personal life is that bad instead of inflicting this stress on people who are already stressed enough as it is.
I run a business myself I have never ever let 1 customer down yet in the whole of 10 years, even when my grandparents died we carried on working the next day and the day of the funerals. That's what you call customer service which you are clearly lacking in somewhat.
Replying on this thread is making you look really unprofessional and you should stop replying as it's not making you look good at all....0
