Sorry you have been so unwell Essex-girl - have to say though that your list of to do things sounds waaaaay too much for someone who is beginning to feel better. I know it's tempting to crack on but make sure you don't overdo it.
Ok, taking my bossy self off to do jobs (after this 3rd cup of tea, although the WM is on:p)

Congratulations to Hester and the Minder x
Hugs to Essex girl - take it very steady. I know how frustrating it is to be poorly but give yourself lots of time to recover xx
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

    Morning all,

Didn't get chance to post or read yesterday as it was my DH 50th Birthday. He had a wonderful day. After opening presents in the morning including new golf shoes, a kindle, a new bird table and digital radio to name but a few our eldest boy who is home from Ausralia cooked him poached eggs on toast as its his favourite.
We then went into town and he bought some new clothes and we had a lovely lunch, back home he had a little nap in the afternoon(which he loves to do) and then we went out to a gorgeous spanish restaurant with our close friends and family and had such fun. A really lovely day was had by all:D
Bit of a quieter day today as we need to get ready for the big family party tomorrow night. Need to do lots of cooking and food shopping and DH will put the gazebos up later as I feel sure it will rain and at least this way everyone can get outside.
Feeling a touch delicate this morning so need a cup of tea and a few quiet moments before the day begins :o but it was worth it.
HH hope tommorow is a lovely day for you
Hugs were needed today, Happy:T Friday

If you are determined to clean the kitchen today then make sure you pace yourself and sit down for a least a few minutes between tasks so you don't make yourself ill again and exhausted. I tell myself that by moving at the pace of an arthritic snail and then sitting down a lot, I do a more thorough job. If I try to move at my old pace I start to get breathless and scare DH.

I have gone back upstairs and put my feet up. Having a cup of tea and a browse on laptop before springing- er more shuffling into action later, probably much later.

    Hester

Happy handfasting tomorrow and I agree about leaving the letter for neighbours to see. Maybe next time the cat wants looking after - the other cat (their daughter) can look after it.;)

DH is in garden happy as a clam and I want to put all the towels and bedding back in linen cupboard after having to empty it for workmen a couple of days ago. If I get really efficient I might even put folded duvets into a matching pillowcase to save space and so I can find things better.

We seem to be getting used to the burglar alarm and have not set it off by accident or anything.

Lunch will be left over beef stew and tea probably home made potato salad, boiled eggs and sausage rolls unless I make a quiche which I have not done for a couple of weeks.

Have ordered some books on amazon for dds english lit so hope they arrive by weekend. Anyone who has a Boyes's shop nearby might want to have a look at their sale - I got a bra that should have been about £30 for four pounds and really posh and good quality pyjamas for about £8 so chuffed with myself.

Hugs to all and see you later
