    Afternoon everyone,

I've been busy all day sorting out rubbish to go down the tip as DH offered to make a run today. I slept like a log last night and did not wake up until 9.30 this morning. Luckily DH had got up for the kids. I have lost a christmas present and just cannot find it anywhere. How I can lose a DVD box set defeats me completely. I know it's got to be in the house somewhere but lord only knows where it is.

DD is currently watching the Littlest Light on the Christmas Tree for the third time today, that was £4 well spent :D

    Happy Birthday to Foreverskint

Hugs to Tired Mum and Joannasmum (((((((((((((((((((hugs)))))))))))))))

I wish I hadn't read this thread today as I've been watching the rerun of the XFactor on ITV1 and now I know who won!!! I was trying really hard not to look at any websites that might give it away. Oh well, not to worry.

    very sorry :o

Then I went to Homebase to get some garland hangers for the door. They had none left but ....

Asda were selling clear ones for 57p when i was in there last (week before last). I grabbed the last one in our store, dunno if there are any where you are. Might be worth checking!

Funnily enough I went to Asda today. Had a good look but I couldn't see any. Thanks though.

anniebooklover: ahhhh.. bother. I'm going to my Asda on wednesday morning - if you still haven't found any and i see them there, do you want me to grab one for you - i could post it to you? (whether it'd get there for xmas is another thing)..

got that fridge to do today. Still coughing, and wheezing, but OH said he would help so that would be good. if i can get the fridge clean and the oven clean then i can relax today. stick some laundry on too, but thats an easy job. I wrote out last night the things i have to do each day for the next week, but to some extent they are interchangeable, so i'll just have to try to leave the more strenuous things until my cough is better - i just have to hope it goes sooner rather than later.

something with mince for tea, haven't decided what. maybe a curry. Codex is on the box tonight and Torchwood (yummyJohnBarrowmanyummy) so i shall relax and enjoy those.

hope everyone has/is having a good day!

Well my little DS has been a trooper today, he's nearly 6 and has been helping with the cleaning, he hoovered the linen box out for me, under my bed, helped clean door frames and drawers and even refilled the linen box as I passed him the items (ok it isn't prefect but it'll do) he also helped fill another 2 black sacks for the charity shop and parted with one of his favourite blankets (has a few since was a baby) He also held the hoover to stop it falling as I did the stairs :)

:( downside is he's been a slave driver and when I've gone for a drink/rest he's hustled me back to do more. :rotfl: But I suppose it's spured me on to do more.I think him getting any money he found helped, his money box is fuller now.

My second attempt at yorkshire puddings in oven now, did the first the other day and was a disaster and I am determined to get them right by Christmas!!!!
One day I might be more organised...........

Me too:rolleyes: They look like they should be so simple to make but mine were more like muffins last time I made them.

I'm starting to feel better now. Neighburs have just popped over with a bottle of wine (hi neighbour if you have been reading this thread :D ) and apologised for the noise. Oh did say that we could hear it but in a nice way so all is forgiven.

Edit:- Husband has just been instructed to make the kids baked potatoes with beans and cheese for dinner. He asked me if he needed to wash the baked beans :rotfl:

Afternoon All - hope we are well

I eventually tackled the shoppng with OH, it was busy, but at least I go in with a list and go 4 what we need. Not done a big shop for about 3weeks. So we're stocked up again.

Managed to get the washing down, swept & mopped kitchen & hall.
    Cleaned hamsters out
Went to feed & clean the rabbits out, and the daddy rabbit, is so flimsy and not moving, he was fine yesterday. He was cold, so he's wrapped up now in front of the fire (on low), feeding & watering him regular. Vet gave us some vitamins to put in his water. With hope that will perk him up. Its going to be a long night to see if he will pull thru or not. Kids are still with their dad, they dont know yet and will be heart broken when they come back

Just ironed uniforms for work/school 2mr, and all clean clothes has been sorted out and put away.

Pork Casserole cooking nicely in the SC, smells lovely.

Best go, Catch you all later
    Love as usual

Had a really nice day today, DH finished school on Friday(this school is SO nice), we had a really long lie in, DH went out early and got the papers then came back to bed having made a "posh coffee", we had a muffin and read the papers. BLISS. As I speak DH is spraweled out on the floor with a cat on him,Livingstone is curled up on one sofa ,Lucy is in front of the fire as is Fergal. Phoebe, Simon and Rupert are in bed........ We only have one small lamp on and a couple of candles(safely out of the way of our furry friends) and its really cosy and nice. Hope everybody has a fab evening, take care. Much love Annie XXXXXXXXXXXX

    I've been Money Tipped!
    :santa2: Hello!

Late on here today! Good news is we have finally braved dd's room and cleared it out. Downside is can the loft take all that extra weight? :rotfl:

Went to Lidls today and stocked up on soft drinks, sadly they had no german cookies at all! no lebkuchen hearts or anything else remotely like them. Will have to try Sainsburys tomorrow. Otherwise I will have to don apron and make my own after all.

Decoration for day 17 is some holly sprigs in the conservatory.

Hope everyone is ok and coping with all the preparations.

    Catz x
