Regarding the complaints in this thread, either posting the items when they said they would, or being honest about the delay, would have made the buyers happy

not a chance they would find something else to nit pick about who actually waits 11 days nowadays for someone to post anything. They would probably rather stick pins in their eyes

I buy quite a lot of stuff from the Far East and am happy to wait 30 days + for my items as they tell me it might take that long. What I will not put up with, however much it offends people, is to buy from someone who tells me they post within 1 day of payment and then post up to 10 days later...and lie about it. If they want to post on day 11 then fine, let them, but tell me on the auciton page before I bid so I can choose whether to buy or not.

Some buyers want the moon and the stars.

I suppose you want them to go to the bother of detailing scratches and damage too, soolin?

Soolin, I don't blame you. I hate it when a seller boasts of speedy delivery, then takes an age to deliver them.
I ordered 5 USB leads on June 4th from a Hong Kong based seller, ebay now tells me expected delivery is between June 20th and July 6th. In the meantime, I have ordered 2 camera battery chargers and another USB lead from other HK sellers, all of which arrived within 5 days of payment.

When it comes to dispatch, I pay for my parcels at my local PO as the Postmaster considers pre-paid via Paypal to be theft of income from him and if you take more than one in to post, he makes you go to the back of the queue inbetween each parcel, but if you are paying at the counter, he will happily take 5 parcels each 'visit' as his PO gets a fee for each one.

People moan about their local Post Office closing, but fail to realize that each one must earn a set amount in fees and that pre-paid items earn them nothing. So next time someone comes on here complaining that they have to lug their 40 prepaid parcels 10 miles further because their local branch has been closed, god help 'em.

exactly no matter how good you are wont make the buyers happy. They are judging everyone on their own rather strange standards. My buyers dont lie to me because I dont ask them

The thread was talking about sellers lying, not buyers...

So now you agree that buyers don't want to wait...yet your first post on this thread was to complain about buyers who are impatient.

Have no idea if you're for real or not.

We try to help new people, but I won't apologise for having no time for anybody who comes in and completely misrepresents what people are saying, as you did.

What was friendly about accusing posters of being unreasonable and impatient when all they asked for was a seller who told the truth?
