Try reapplying again for MDC. Make the area you are willing to cover as large as possible - if you are in Scotland tick Inverness the jobs up there always linger the longest, also when they ask if you have any MS experience tick no.

What happened with MCE? Did you speak with Mark, he is usually very helpful and quite accommodating.

LOL I love your phrase "girl about town" - makes you sound like your out of a 60's movie - really cool!

Not much help but I think you cant reapply with RE. Not sure about anyone else. Naughty I know but how about a different email address and dob, maybe foremane too. Its not like they check (I presume that's what you're asking.....?)

BTW have you seen the lastest ESA instructions re photographs?

Had a phone call from ESA asking me to retake photos as the egg shop had the audacity to open a shop in front of a row of trees. Denise was shocked at my verbal response on the phone. When will they ever learn? Stupid thing is they have already paid me for the job.

Lol what was your verbal response?

***Things to remember to take with you on an egg visit***

-Neon t-shirt with 'Mystery shopper' on the back
-Traffic wardens uniform, if not available lollypop man/woman outfit to stop traffic
-A pad of 'fixed penalty notices' to be issued to anyone who has the cheek to sit in a parked car outside the aforementioned egg shop
-Police tape to cordon off the area during the visit to prevent infiltration by the poor sods who are out doing a genuine shop
    -Men at work sign
-Chainsaw to remove any lampposts, rogue signs, trees and the like.

    Have I missed anything?

Given that the egg organisation prides themselves and advertises to hell that they are an ethical organisation someone really should highlight to them the ethics of their partners.

Couple of quick questions if anyone is around this morning to help...! :)

Firstly, my visit for React states expenses as: "Travel Expenses up to X miles(0.xx per mile to a maximum of xx miles)): £X.XX"

The number of miles is generous considering that it is only about 3 miles away, so well within the limit, which is fine obviously. But as mileage is way under, can I claim parking as well, up to the limit, or is it literally only mileage?

Secondly, the GFK banks that have gone on the last couple of days - the ones where there was 3 time frames and a visit for each - I can't see anything that says you can't do the branch more than once. I would assume I couldn't do a morning one, then the lunch one as well?? Think I am just trying to be cheeky and pick up an extra easy job as I already have the lunchtime one. It's only a transaction, no enquiry so wouldn't really look suspicious, and the main point in it is timing. The only mention of limits I can see is the 12 in total in the wave.

Hope everyone still has lots of sunshine for the weekend :)

Is it the Scottish bank? If so the notes say you cannot visit the same branch more than once in two weeks. Rhodes are the only ones I can see at the mo

You can, obviously, only claim for actual mileage (return trip from home to job): React do occasional random checks on claims. Some jobs include parking reimbursement and some do not (if there is nowhere to enter parking costs on the questionnaire, then you cannot claim). There is a limit (specified in £) on the amount you can claim for parking; most jobs need upload of a copy of the car parking ticket/receipt.

It stated previously that you could not revisit a branch within 4 weeks of the previous visit - is is not hidden away somewhere in the briefing notes?

Edit: I have just seen boyoboy1986's response; that sounds better than 4 weeks!

    Thank you.
I had thought as much with React, I'm sure all of the jobs I've done before have been able to claim parking as well which is why I thought it was strange.

And I had assumed about the banks, but hadn't seen it in the notes. I'm sure it's there somewhere and I'm just in a rush this morning.
Am paying enough attention though, promise ;)

yep last month it definitely said 4 weeks. I'm guessing they have changed it due to the 3 visits scenario
  • Its not changed. I took the 3 visits for one and had 2 deallocated.
