BTW have you seen the lastest ESA instructions re photographs?
they say that pics must not be obscured by trees.....so dont forget..if there is an offending tree on the pavement in front of the store.....chop it down or you wont be paid!

And also take an angle grinder to remove any signs that might be in the way as well ......

I did a bank for them last week, if had 2 entrances, in different streets, both of them could have been the "main" entrance so I took the left, centre and right photos of both, and uploaded all 6 photos and wrote an explination in the last answer that I could comment on. Got a phone call "You appear to have uploaded photos of a completely different bank as well" .... give me strength, read the report!! At least the guy I spoke to understood when I explained and said I'd done the right thing, as if I'd only uploaded one, they'd have asked for the other, and he said he'd explain it to the proof readers.

Any tips on how to avoid photographs that have "bright sunlight or reflections" (apart from returning to the site a couple of hours later)?

What will happen when winter comes around again? Will we be told that photographs can only be taken in full daylight?

I was once queried for having taken a picture with no windows showing. THERE WERE NO WINDOWS at this site !

Maybe we should also take a team of builders/carpenters/glaziers...........

:rotfl:Could almost be a challenge, person to get the most outrageous thing in the foreground / background accepted.......

(Not that I'm reallly suggesting it, would just love someone from ESA to read these posts and then sweat as to what to expect :rotfl:)

Jen you're down in the Borders. One of those little quiet ones would be ideal for photoshopping in an Amsterdamesque style knocking shop above with a madam in one window and a few of the 'girls' in the others. You would have to choose the time of day carefully to ensure that the flashing red lights didn't cause the high quality, straight angled with no people in cars, staring out of the windows etc etc as you may be sent back to take them again.

or we could have little 'accidents'. You know where you upload the wrong photo?

Left of Bank, right of Bank, picture of your dog, bank business card

    lol
I get what i want. That isn't because i'm a brat or spoilt. It's because i'm determined, i work hard for it and i achieve my goals!
