  • Egg shop today, standing by till doing returns. SA at next till mentions 'mystery shopper' to my SA. Seems he thought the lady he had just served was one. Mind you, I'm feeling a little jealous as he served me earlier and I don't think he would have thrown my eggs sideways into my carrier and bounced it up and down if he had known.

Has anyone done the gfk chemist audit? Are they a PITA for the fee?
It can sometimes be hard finding all the products if you're doing it the first time round and it takes a little time. If there's something you can't find, mark it on your sheet and go round with a staff member at the end and ask them where the things are. They are usually more than willing to help. If you do the same store a few times it's a lot quicker. Took me an hour and a half the first time I did one but when I returned to the shop to do it again months later it only took half an hour.
  • I have a TNS quick supermarket tomorrow. Has anyone ever done a job outside the time frame specified with no permission by TNS and still got paid. This is very risky and don't think I would ever do it but if someone has before, then perhaps.
No. They are really strict! Give them a call first, they may be able to move the time for you.

GfK - The TV "quiz" is also driving me insane. Can someone tell me which question is the one which is causing the problems. I thought I had tried every permutation, but it seems not.

    Many thanks in advance.

ETA - I've done it! It is the answers to 6 and 7 which aren't compliant with the briefing notes.

I am a little confused with this, question 6 & 7 are fully compliant with the briefing notes, there is no ambiguity at all if you read them fully.

Question 6 the answer is 2 things you need to obtain, which is in the brief and question 7 use your own suppliers, which is also in the brief. In fact all the answers are in the brief and are correct????

I love petrol jobs. My car's had three hot wax and blow drying jobs this weekend, and half a tank of petrol.

Cheers for that, the visit on my available list is not particularly local so will hang fire and see if I start getting ones nearer to home.

I can only assume I have a different assignment to you because your answers would not be applicable to mine. I have done this assignment before and I know that what has happened is that the answers have not been updated for the new brief. Hardly a first for GfK.

I always think it's a booty call when she calls up. She does that sultry laugh and goes "Hey, it's me, I was hoping you could do me a favour". LOL. What kind of favour indeed! I always end up thinking who the funk is "me" as GFK always call with a private number.
I can only assume I have a different test to you because I don't recognise your answers. I have done this assignment before and I know that what has happened is that the answers have not been updated for the new brief.

There are only 2 types, one for a mobile and one for a static, both the quizzes are similar but not the same. Both sets of questions are correct to the brief but the wording is tricky on a couple of the questions, there are no trick questions in there though. I have done both of them previously and done them both again today

My husband wishes he was your car. Loves nothing better than hot wax and blow drying jobs. You can leave out the drying and the fuel.
