  • Do TNS answer emails at weekends?
I have a job for them tomorrow after 2pm, but was hoping to do it in the morning.

I've had a call from them this morning so there is someone there

    Sounds like CHG

I do warn about them on the first page

Indeed, blindman. You are so very, very right about CHG – they were a freaking nightmare and no mistake!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have a TNS quick supermarket tomorrow. Has anyone ever done a job outside the time frame specified with no permission by TNS and still got paid. This is very risky and don't think I would ever do it but if someone has before, then perhaps.

Wouldn't bother risking it Berbastrike. Plenty of people kick themselves for getting the wrong time by accident. But then again, it's only a few pounds so not exactly a big risk, and fastest finger first company so not really much to lose reputation wise.
Can't you just juggle your plans slightly seeing as the shop only takes a few mins?

I wouldn't risk it with TNS.

I got mixed up with the different sizes of supermarket and spent 18 minutes in store on my visit (and I did manage to capture all the staff members etc., as per the brief). They wouldn't pay me as the spec for that size store was at least 20 mins in store :(
Here I go again on my own....
  • Just cancelled a Posh toyshop with generous reimbursement job in Glasgow, on RA- I was going to see son and do this enroute, but he is working now.

That's really petty!! Grr, it's little things like that that really pee me off about doing what we do. I know obviously, yes, we have to stick to the brief, but it may have JUST turned 2:15 for example, so had you gone in 2 mins before your Time In would have been 2:14, then when you left, it was 2:33 : 58 seconds, so had you been 2 seconds more your Time Out would have been 2:34 and there's your 20 mins!!
It's not like you popped in for 5 mins and didn't get all the info you were meant to.
