  • Interesting this must of happened to me as I do not see any restaurants in my county EXCEPT the franchised one, yet see them in the counties around me, never been given a reason though, and knowing Gap never going to get a reason.

Are you in Falkirk/Stirling/Alloa way? Those ones never used to get posted before I got the Spanish Archer from them due to friends and family of the staff doing a widespread number of visits. I found this out as they called me once asking me to do one and asked them why.

That explains (one of) the mysteries of GAP to me, not that I was really that upset but I did wonder why I could never see any of them in that area. I did ask once and they offered to manually allocate me one then but I never got a reason.

Has anyone done any of the pharmacy jobs for esa that are on at the moment ?. They are the ones where you have to mystery shop then get a member of staff to sign your paperwork and then to ask a customer some questions ?.
Seems like alot of work for the fee and im not sure i fancy them but there are alot of them in my area.

I agree, the fee is crap.

I would not get out of bed for that fee. ESA are proper taking the michael! They take a while to do and if there is a queue, you might as well forget about it. Double the fee and I would probably do it. :p

I love these jobs. It's quite easy to do a route of 15-20 in a day and the reports aren't too bad either. Makes a nice daily rate if you can get enough, and as soon as you tell the staff you're the mystery shopper they drop everything to help you. I can be in and out within 10-15 minutes :j

Has anyone heard off RM or done any visits lately? I've not had any contact from them for like 2 months bar the urgent visit 2 weeks ago. It's on the other side of the town where I live and there is no public transport to there so I said no thanks. It's the carpet one which took me 2 hours to do last time for the paltry fee! The woman at RM said "It's in your town and you are expected to pick it up". I said no chance. She said "Fine" in a huff and put the phone down. I wouldn't be surprised if they have barred me from further visits. Just out of interest, I'm not really expected to pick up a visit if it's in my area am I? Surely it's my choice if I want to or not right?

Unbelievable attitude!! You're freelance, you can do whatever the hell you want. They only call me once every six months or so. They rang me day before yesterday and offered me two jobs which are about 7 miles away and I said "no" as I'm not going that way in the next few days so it's not worth the hassle. She was a bit uppity with me too and said in a threatening way "Well, I'll have to call someone else then!". So what? Go and call someone else, see if I care, I don't want to do the job anyway.

Has anyone seen the fee for the REACT job regarding the shop with no colour? They want us to do all that for that miniscule fee? Are they crazy? There's two in my area and I'm not doing them. Some desperate shopper can grab them if they want.

Thats just downright rude! Am I missing something here but are we not self employed? surely its your right to take what jobs you want! Can you imagine telling a plumber that he has to take the job of fitting your boiler because you rang him and he is in your area? :rotfl:
Well, you can tell by the way I use my walk
I'm a woman's man: no time to talk
