Just had a look at React out of curiosity. Who does these???? i mean really?

(now thinking i may have moved up a step! once upon a time as a newbie i would have taken this without understanding why they are so bad. feeling a little more expereinced not lol) :D

I did think about doing one of those, only because I haven't done a job for REACT yet and I would like to get a higher rating than the 5 they start you on. At the moment everything else requires a higher rating, so I can't apply. Or the odd thing I can apply for I never get anyway.

That sounds not so bad then, just copy and paste for a lot of answers that do require a sentence :D

What about the part where you need to ask another customer some questions? Like I said, it's a bit of a rough estate where my local one is, and I can imagine most responses I'd get would be unprintable here! Getting someone to actually stop for 30 seconds and give me some decent answers could be the bit that takes a while...

I've done a number of these. You can usually get the results by listening in while in the shop. Often there is no-one to interview in a reasonable time (I think they say 5 minutes) and they are happy with that.

The no colour shops aren't that bad - I do then when I can but then it is in the town centre and I only do it when i'm there anyways :)

Agreed as a stand alone job I wouldn't bother but I've applied for both my local ones as I have jobs in those towns I can do on the same days, and means I have something to do while the time elapses.
It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Anyone going to the Braehead steak and ribs place before 21 August.
I got a voucher, BOGOF half or full rack ribs. Let me know if you can use it :)

I really wouldn't bother doing jobs for React for that reason, they seem very oversubscribed to me at the mo, I've got an average of 9 but get very limited allocated (use to get a reasoonable amount from Lisa always have got next to nothing from Ted)

Thanks, I suspected that. In the end I thought I'm not driving 40 mins each way, to a town with no other jobs just to get a REACT rating. Because even if I get a 9 or 10 I still might not get the assignments I do want, like the attractions ones.
