yup to the above, im with them all and when I started out I was taking everything that was offered and even made a loss on more than one occasion. It was all good experience and even though i wasnt sacked by them, (seems to be a rite of passage) gap took me off burger jobs as my photo was taken from a cctv still and distributed around stores in the midlands apparently lol so i couldnt do a job for that client any more, (the give away was as soon as i walked in to one ihadnt done before and went to the till the guy turned round to his manager and shouted "GAP!" before i ordered doh ! haha) so be prepared for anything to happen on a shop that you dont expect, because it can and probably will...

any how I digress, the reality is now i probably only work with 3 -4 companies, 2 of which are not menioned on here and i cant mention them either. I pick and choose jobs as I wish and just browse others if things are a little quiet.

so, as starting out dont panic about choosing the right ones, just get some experience, dont expect to get offered much if any at first, pick a few crappy jobs if need be. Be prepared to make mistakes, and have to revisit or not get paid. be prepared for staff to mess up too and things not to go as planned. once youve got that experience and if you live in an area with enough work, youll hopefully be able to keep yourself as busy as you like with not just MS but other aspects of field work eg merchandising, data collection, surveys, pos placement, audits, product recalls, video shops etc . This is the bulk of what I do now and didnt come till id done quite a few shops with a range of companies.

but remember busy doesnt equal rich and it doesnt mean its comes quick.

and oh yeh your normal non ms shops will never be the same again as youll find it impossible to switch off timings, name badges, tidiness etc

have you checked ebay lately ? its flooded with them at the moment so your not likely to make much what ever you choose. I understand the maximising return though so try and keep your total outlay costs low and dont forget by the time you factor in ebay listing, selling and paypal fees, your return may not worth the great effort vs giving a nice present to a relative lol

Thanks, just had a look and there is quite a lot on there lol. Managed to find a bracelet which has sold on Ebay £32 recently, so going to target that one I think. The store price is £45.

Might have to just get a present for a relative though

Anyone ever done an RE sandwich shop and given out that good service certificate? I don't understand why they want us to do it. Does the employee get anything other than a poorly printed certificate?

I think they get a £25 Love2Shop voucher for it, sure I read/heard it somewhre.

Underground sandwich is a franchise and some give money others give gift certificates. it just depends on the owner.

What did the MSing Company say when you called and explained to them what had happened?

Sorry, you did mention in your original post that you'd tried calling them.

If I were you, I'd still be looking to be paid the fee, or at the very least half of it for your wasted time.
