I'm not sure if the above is the reason for it but anyone got pelvic bone pain? Just in the middle as it were? I'm not sure what it is but it's flippin' uncomfortable! :o
I've had pelvic bone pain since 4 months this pregnancy. Bouncing on the birth ball helps but sometimes it feels like I've got a bowling ball inside me! Last pregnancy I was 38 weeks before that all started. It's very uncomfortable and I cant always walk far without stopping for a minute. combined with my extra-large bump, people seem to think I'm in my final weeks, but I'm only 27 weeks gone :-)
On the plus side, as baby is low, I'm not suffering much heartburn!

Hi everyone, i think i made one post here, but can i officially say hello and join you? I'm 15 weeks now, so still over on 12-24weeks, but its useful to pop by here too to prepare myself for what is ahead!

Apricot, not sure what the proper form is on being added, but next time you update the list, would you be able to add me? I'm EDD 30/12/11, still team yellow for now, but plan to find out last week in July. Thanks!

On another note, anyone had experience of major dental work when PG? Out of nowhere i have KILLING tootach ache and my face is all swollen. Not sure if its related to the fact i seem to have started clenching/grinding my teeth in the night this week. I've tried corsydyl mouth wash, and had a dig around with interdental brushes, but no improvement. Had to reluctantly give in and have some paracetamol today. I'm going to try and get an emergency appointment tomorrow afternoon now i've harrassed my GP into signing my exemption cert, but i'm worried about the whole xrays, amalgam fillings, anaethestic, antibiotics whilst PG.
If it IS fillings, should i push for the white, non amalgam fillings for safety? Will the dentist know what antibiotics are safe for PG women?
Arrgh! Pain! ( i know, its good practice for the real pain to come, but still!!!)

    TIA,
    K

Hi girlettes, a nice chatty day to catch up on.

As for size comments I've been getting such a mix. Some say I'm massive and am I sure it's only the one (the three scans and heart rate listening is a give away) and others say I'm small. Then there's the hated bunch who keep telling me how big I'll get in the last 4 weeks. OMG I don't think my skin is capable of stretching much more!! I think people just like to pass comment but give no thought as to how it'd make us preggo women feel.

It's official - my DH is defo a feeder!! Not really complaining but I am slightly concerned about the effort of getting rid of the lard afterwards. Hey ho, I'll cross that bridge when I get there.

The bambino has been head down since about 26 weeks so I'm hoping he stays that way. Whilst there has been movement I don't think it's been enough to make me think he's doing anything other than star jumps. He's a lively little soul most the time, esp if I dare to rest my arm on him!! Bless.

I have 2 1/2 weeks left at work which is an odd feeling. I'm desperate for the time off but not sure how I'll feel after the first week (assuming junior doesn't arrive early). I've bought 3 trashy novels today ready to keep me entertained.

Nursery update - . . . . Nothing! Grrrr DH has been working and my decorating skills are apparently not up to much so I'm left waiting for him to do it. I keep trying to deal him out with comments like "if he's early he could be here this month" but nothing seems to work. I don't want to be a nag but I can see it heading that way!

They won't do the amalgam fillings in pregnancy.. they will either make you pay for white or will keep doing temporary ones.
x-rays.. you need about 10,000 for it to affect the baby according to the last lot of research I read.. but they won't do one for a filling anyway.
anaesthetic.. local they will do general they won't
antibiotics.. they routinely prescribe amoxycillin which is fine unless you are allergic to penicillin in which case they will give you something else I'm sure

I hav 4 need to be out and 1 needs a filling at the moment.. inc. a wisdom tooth!

Apricot, no fair, I don't have any leaking of b00bs yet - keep thinking that because I wore underwired bra for ages it may have affected things...

Im still wearing underwired bras - I don't feel comfortable in the soft type - they give me granny b00bs lol! It was literally only a teeny bit of leakage - maybe all my fiddling has paid off :rotfl:

Thank you for doing the list Apricot, no hurry, but know what you mean about forgetting stuff! At the weekend i forgot the word for neighbour, said yesterday, corrected myself and said tomorrow instead! Embarrassing!!:o

Yes, it is first baby for us both. We are both too much the advance planning type to wait till the end - we want to know what to buy!
I think we have a marginal preference for a boy, and then a girl if there is a number 2. But if we end up with team pink, then just as happy, and all my relatives are itching for a girl!

anyone else have the feeling the baby is gonna "fall out", seriously, a few times today i've felt movement so far down i've actually thought she was coming there and then, never felt that with my previous two (i'm 31+2)
also i've been feeling really dizzy, so much so i've had to lie down, it happens daily and i'm gonna mention it on thursday when i see the midwife. to top it all off, OH has informed e he'd like another baby as soon as possible after this one, good luck with that pal, ha!
    Skint, but happy (ish):p

YES!! and DS3 did literally.. he pushed himself down with his hand on his head and his hand went straight through the membranes.. = delivery at 31 weeks! lol.... not to scare you or anything :p This one is very very low too.. I was comparing pics from Squeak and this one earlier and compared to this one I was a lot bigger with her.. but she was very high up and this one is very low in my pelvis and has been since the 12 weeks scan.. it hasn't moved at all. Here's hoping this one is out easier :D

This was wriggling its head about earlier.. and I have arms in the pelvis too.. I think it was practising sparring using my bladder as a punchbag! It is funny to feel it headbutt my bowel as well.. I am very very glad of my pelvic floor muscles... it is so woth doing those exercises!!!

Twinkle.... slam his nuts in the freezer door every time he mentions another baby... there will be 13/14 months between mine and I feel like it is the biggest mistake known to man having them this close.. 18 months is fine.. this is horrible! Funny thing is we started trying for no#2 when DS was 6 weeks old and there is almost 3 years between those 2.. and these 2 happened so fast without any trying at all! You could ask him who he intends having it with !! lol I'm not leaving hospital without an implant after this one lol... by the time that stops working my ovaries should have stopped working!

    Morning all.

Another baby, Twinkle? He's certainly planning ahead......

I have a clean hotpress, DSD's cupboard is bare, so is above fridge. We got distracted from tidying last night and built a wooden gate for the back yard- it's confusing the Rough Collie. He keeps hearing people, but can't see them, so has stopped barking and was sitting mired in confusion last night. The Lab wasn't bothered in the least.
So now I have clean cupboards and a wooden gate which we painted bright blue for a summery look. The fact our landing, bedroom, DSD's room, kitchen and back yard are full of junk is mere tidying- we're getting there! DH broke his toe on some bits I'd found for my car, so is expecting plenty of sympathy....

Think I'm going to write today off as a bad one and go back to bed :( just dropped DS at school and bubs kicked my ribs hard as I was turning around and I jumped and curbed the bl00dy alloy wheel and took a chunk out of the tyre  I'm soooo cross, only just replaced the front tyres at £250 a corner!! Oh god DH is gonna KILL me! If I don't post for a few days after he spots it, send a search party :(
