Im 39 weeks and still waiting for nesting to kick in! I dont think its going to to be honest lol. Husband said last week "Youre supposed to be nesting not mess-ting" :rotfl:

Not sure what we are doing today, looks like a nice day out there though. Have to sort out the cars MOT which sucks but nevermind!

Another one nesting over here! Seems to have been a weekend of clearing cupboards and flinging carp feels FANTASTIC to get rid of it all but my god the pain! I do agree with you though Pigpen - if its gonna hurt it might as well hurt for a reason so I've done the Mr T's run, washed the car and am now going to stick some curtains in the washer and clean out the fridge!

Nesting? I suppose that's what it is- hadn't thought of it like that. I'd just filed it under decrapifying.

I'm not by any means a minimalist- however in comparison to my DH and DSD, I'm a paragon of minimalism! I do collect useful bits- old engine old for wood, paint, nails and screws, rope etc- all useful stuff. I just don't see when a four-year-old bottle of aftershave DH hates is going to be needed! Or why DSD NEEDS a myraid of Barbie dolls, all missing at least one limb....

I wouldn't say that we were particularly minimalist either - it is something I would love to achieve though! Although with DH and his collection of random bits of computer and screws that he "doesn't know what its for but better hang on to it just in case" I'm fighting a loosing battle!

I am working on minimalist.. I have clothing down to a manageable level.. and toys are my next project.. horrible thing is I know in the loft there are about 5 million boxes of toys I need to go through at some point!

The sun is out here again, I have a bbq to go to tonight but in reality I would much rather stay at home and be unsociable :cool:

Oh and just in case anyone cares I have leaky b00bs (actually that should probably be singular as I woke up with one wet patch this morning! :rotfl:)

oooh - isn't feeling unsociable a sign of impending labour? Seem to remember some of the ladies due in April were feeling like that just beforehand..........

Morning all

Been to consultant appointment (didnt actually see consultant just one of her docs) my bp is up she mentioned something about the top and bottom number being close together being unusual?? and I have protein etc in urine again so i've to go have blood pressure check again on wed and have urine sent off again, Bumps also measuring on top line of growth chart.

Other than that though not feeling to bad back/hip pain is bearable need to do some major cleaning but think i might take it easy till have BP done again wed last thing I want is admitting to hospital, maternity services have been moved to another town which would just be a nightmare!

I dream in minimalism daren't think about the loft though! Maybe that can be my "Monica" cupboard :rotfl:
