Oh I will give it a go even for a few days but I was in the process of changing my mind before last nights class anyway. Not sure why though I know I'll get hell from Mom (not sure why she's anti-bf'ing) and I can't imagine doing it in public.

Fingers crossed then!
I don't think I put him down for at least 6 months.
Though... he grew into a fairly placid well behaved lad, strange!
DD1 was my screamer... God she was horrific.. she was born at 11am.. started screaming at 10:30pm.. and screamed solidly day and night for 6 months.. after that she screamed and whinged ALL day and only half the night.. she was vile.. from about 4 she was lovely... had her last tantrum at about 8.. I videod it and showed her friend.. that stopped that!! lol
She wouldnt go to anyone but me and I wanted to throw her in the bin! She hated her dad (still does!) Twice she came very very close to being evacuated from the bedroom via the window in the middle of the night! and I would put her outside in the pushchair in the front garden just so her screaming was quieter while I had a cuppa and calmed down.. one time a neighbour knocked on the door and asked if I knew the baby was crying.. this frazzled mummy here screeched YES THAT IS WHY IT IS OUT THERE!!!!!!!!
God help me if I ever got another like that!Skint_Catt wrote: »Oh I will give it a go even for a few days but I was in the process of changing my mind before last nights class anyway. Once you get in your head you are feeding your baby and that is the most important thing in the world feeding in public is nothing.. it isnt like you strip to the waist to feed a baby.. you learn very quickly to be discrete..
You get more dirty looks and tuts for walking along with a baby screaming its brains out in the pushchair than you do sat breastfeeding quietly somewhere.. 99.9% of people dont even notice because they are in their own little bubbles.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

Well, consultants was funny! Baby is healthy and happy, he did give me head measurements which I've forgotten, and DH has my notes. Hitchhiker measures fairly bang on the line for age etc.
It was a stand in consultant who was teaching, and one of his interns got to play 'Guess where the baby is?' on my stomach. Hitchhiker didn't help her out at all- was too busy in a game of 'Play dead...'
She identified my stomach as the baby, which was funny.... DH was remarkably composed- but everyone's got to learn somewhere, and even I can't tell which way baby is usually.
Got to see Hitchhiker again- always looks straight at the scanner, every time. Weird seeing the baby skull, ribs, eyelids..... Hitch is human anyway!0 -
Glad all was ok Lirin. What I would really like to do is eat something and then not get heartburn and acid indigestion after itThank you to everyone for sharing competitions!0

I also collected my free Breast Shells, with my Boots voucher, as I didn't want the Avent bottle, they're currently amusing me as we speak. Did anyone else get these? They're rather weird. The frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0

Spent 3 hours waddling around town buying some last bits, have just got back and eaten half the fridge!!!
I forgot to say earlier, after i had the growth scan on Monday i saw a consultant, he was fairly young and as i didnt have my sweep last week it was decided we would get one done whilst there rather than try to get an appt with midwife. So it was basically a case of knicks down, rummage around and then got sent on my way. He managed to touch the babys head and then yesterday i had some mucus, but not much.
I have another sweep booked in for this Friday, so am hoping baby will want to make an appearance after that - if not i am getting on the trampoline and bouncing her out!!!
Right, im off for a lay down - have worn myself out already xxxDue 26th July, team yellow0 -
