Was cool coming down the motorway- the wind's died a little now, but when I came in it was strong enough to keep lifting the front of the car. I'm stuck between wanting to go home and curl up, and wanting a great display of weather!

Chocolate muffin batter made, just to wait on the oven preheating and they can be cooked, yum! Maybe staying in is a good idea
Do you think the baby will be here on time Elmo or fashionably late? The frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0 -
Hello, just popping in for a moan lol....I haven't had a decent nights sleep in ages simply because i can't get comfortable (everything seems to ache) and have terrible heartburn. Extra pillows, propping up etc doesn't seem to be helping at all. Baby seems to be enjoying moving around and changing positions a lot-yesterday i felt something prodding at bottom of belly (lovely on my bladder!) and at top of bump (so must be head and feet)....day before he was lying across-as i had prods either side of my bump!
Quick question-i know people say animals can sense a woman being pregnant, but can toddlers?! My almost 3 year old has been strangely loving towards me the past week, planting me with lots of kisses and cuddling up to my belly and seeming to enjoy how i smell (can he smell breast milk do you think?)...or is he just a strange child?! lol

My 4 year guessed Keely. I was wanting to wait till 12 weeks before saying to her, but she told me I had a baby in my tummy when I was only 9 weeks. I asked her was she pretending, she said no, you have a baby in there mummy. Don't know how she worked it out. She probably overheard something, but kids do have great instincts.
She has been very cuddly since and tickles and talks to bump. She really wants to be a big sister.First Baby born January 2007

Well the excitement of my day will be a trip to the Job Centre to sign on! Seems a bit of a farce having to look at all the job websites and talk about which jobs would suit me etc, 'Have you seen the size of me! Who in their right mind is going to give me a job right now!!'. I change over to Income Support at 29 weeks (2 weeks time) so won't have to go through it for much longer. That makes me sound a bit like a lazy scrounger doesn't it, but there was no point looking for a teaching job from Sept when I would only be there for 2/3 months so signing on for a few months seemed the best option. Bf moving in during Nov so will only be till then.
Managed to get him to do a bit more in the nursery last night, only moving a few boxes in the loft and all the baby stuff to our bedroom to give me some room but at least it's something. I do worry that if I didn't make a fuss every weekend of getting something done, that we'd be 2 weeks before due date and still no nursery! Might even have a go at some painting this week, and put some bits and bobs up for sale to make some space and a few pounds.Little lady arrived 13/12/110 -
Its my booking in appointment today (better late than never) I am hoping that I wont get a scan today as I only have £20 at the mo to last the week, I think scans are around £7 each now but I cant afford that this week. I would rather get pictures of the 20 week scan though, i've not been too fussed on getting the 12 week pics but it seems if you don't buy them and show them off on every forum you joined your either a troll or a deluded school kid.
Minor tiff on babyandbump last night about the authenticity of my pregnancy, I thoroughly understand that some 1st and 2nd time mums automatically assume that everyone wants to show their scan pic at every available opportunity as a sort of validation of pregnancy before the bump shows however this is number 4 for me, i can mentally remember what the scan looks like, little mr blobby waving and squirming, little heart fluttering.....Little Person Number 4 Due March 2012
