Apologies ladies looks like I might be queue jumping, am being kept in now had a sweep and induction booked for Thursday, could be sooner if the pain from the prolapse gets worse or if I have any more bleeding.

popped into primark earlier and got a button up nightie, (not really my tatse but it will do for giving birth in) then a few likevests tops with buttons for easy access feeding, i can wear them as pyjama tops or for doing the school run etc without having to rush around getting changed .

oohh plus the back of my leg is killing me today from where i had cramp this morning argghh

twinkle - hope that you can speak to the consultant and get the answers you want, i am starting to worry a little now im a boldie lol, i always knew this little one was going to be late but everyone i know has been saying it would be early, well as of midnight we are officially late lol, my prediction is birth on the 16th as by my calculations thats my original due date

Am off to see the community midwife drop in tomorrow, it involves 2 buses there and 2 buses back so am hoping that the MW doesnt suggest a sweep becuase im not convinced the bus ride will be much fun after that.

Oh spicy food linked to a more painful labour? I'm stuffed then- not allowed most pain relief during labour, and love extremely spicy food....

Ahh linked to lower blood pressure, mine is always low so that could very well make sense. Thanks for that.

With regards pain relief I'm similar to you and also like spicy food so could be fun

Sorry for not updating sooner, it's been a whirlwind few days.

Isabella was born on Thursday morning weighing 8lb 2oz and I am besotted! Unfortunately it hasn't been plain sailing, I ended up with a failed epidural and a c section, they picked up very quickly that issy had slightly fast breathing and started antibiotics as a precaution, thankfully they did as she has a nasty infection and so we are stuck in hospital until at least Thursday. They have also diagnosed jaundice today so my beautiful girl is now in an incubator, I hope she can come out soon

She is amazing though, just can't wait to get her home and well. Sorry not had a chance to read back, hope you are all good, labour vibes to the needy!
