  • bit of advice needed please.

Went to out of hours last night/early hours of this morning as was cramping badly and also had a bit of a bleed when i went to the loo, they did a scan and baby is fine, nothing seems to be wrong and i was just to rest and take it easy. Im still cramping now although the bleeding has tailed off a bit, do you think its something to worry about or am i panicking over nothing?

    Yep I do WW!

I really really need some clothes *sigh*

I've just spent half the afternoon sorting out all the clean washing and my sock drawer. I have a huge heap of stuff that won't fit me at the mo, and a small basket of things that will. And some of that is a bit optimistic like the two pairs of maternity jeans that are actually torture implements! :D On the bright side, after flinging all the holey socks and ancient bras, I found some bigger pants that I don't think I ever wore, hurray!

Now I have said huge heap in the middle of my bed and need to find a home for it before I sleep. :D

I have managed to make enough floor space for a crib, when I finally buy one... not enough for a cot, but it is a start!

Haha... yeah the floor will do to rehome the clutter :p that's what I'll do with everything I pulled out from under the bed this morning :D

I have a basket of random things that just sit in my living room, honestly all I ever do is move it around, thinking of binning it lol.

  • Hard to know seafarers wife. Abdominal cramps can be caused by other reasons, like constipation etc. I would be inclined to speak to the maternity unit, or Day Obstretic Unit that they have here, rather than the ordinary doctors.

I'm now eating strawberry angel delight :p no butterscotch left in the house. I'm soo suggestible

hey - i had this a few months ago pretty much same symptoms by the sounds of it - docs said it just sometimes happens and they cant explain - bleeding lasted a few hours though next day still a little spotting - if you think its not getting any better id go back to the out of hours centre just to put your mind at rest - best be safer than sorry :)

Well I'm free anytime so just let me know, you seem to have a busier life than me :p

I think there was a news article last week that swine flu cases are on the rise again, but I won't be having it. I don't have the regular flu injection either after OH had a bad reaction a few years ago and ended up ill and on medication for 6 months.

Sammy, I think if you are that concerned then it may be worth changing to another hospital, even if it is an hour away. However, no matter where you go there is a risk of mistakes happening, after all midwives, nurses and Consultants are all human. That isn't any comfort I know, but it is a fact of life.

Does anyone else feel like a fat boring frump? I've been feeling like this for weeks now, and my only topic of conversation seems to be baby related. What happened to my life? I used to do things, now I just cannot be bothered. I need a kick up the @rse! I think OH is getting sick of me and my miserable chops :(

He ought to have a day with me.. I am horrendous at the moment.. I dont talk about the baby in fact i am so miserable I dont talk about anything I just whinge and whine and moan and groan and grumble and complain... I am SICK to death of hearing myself.

I havent been out in months.. not even for lunch or coffee.. I dont ring people.. in fact in the last 5 months I have seen my mother, 3 of my sisters, my stepdad very briefly and OHs mum, dad and sister.. noone has been to the house and I havent been out.

Wipes.. Huggies pure are really good... if you dont open them they stay wet for ages.. if the baby drag them out and flicks them all over the floor like snow they dry quicker. Though.. the huggies aloe ones are gorgeous.. they smell divine! The orange pampers ones are cheap rubbish, dry before you open them and useless

I cant face angel delight after all.

I think the fish & chips accompanied by milkshake has done me in. I have been aching all day but now my tummy feels really bloated and overstuffed!

My house is a basket of random things! :D I can't see the sense in throwing away useful things just because you aren't using them at the moment.

My other half is [STRIKE]a bit[/STRIKE] very tidy obsessive and hates spending time here, he even told me he wasn't sure he could take two weeks paternity cos he'd go mad staying here. :( I've crammed all the nice clothes I can't fit into in the wardrobe and propped the door shut(ish) with my scales... who wants to get on them at the mo!
