I've just nommed a Flake cupcake, it was delicious! The frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0 -
I've been leaking already, seems to get more every night too! Doctor just laughed when I told her, hilarious!
I told the midwife yesterday that mine were leaking! She said to wear a crop top or support type vest in bed because if the way you are laid puts pressure on them you are effectively "milking" them. I guess when you lay on your side they flop down and may get squished?:jProud mummy to a beautiful baby girl born 22/12/11 :j0 -

That's a good point. I will give that a go. It seems to be particularly bad when I have a shower before bed, so I'm assuming the hot water/steam etc isn't exactly helping. The frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0 -
Gilly - I'm not in NI so haven't looked into it, just saw it advertised and thought I'd mention it.
Sammy/Gilly - Mine are worse when the air gets to them - if they are covered they are normally not too bad but if I let them hang free (sorry couldn't think of a better way!) they dribble away like a broken tap.
Elmo - I got bought http://www.amazon.co.uk/Fabulous-Mums-Guide-Family-Life/dp/1846053382 and http://www.amazon.co.uk/Confessions-Bad-Mother-cabinet-no-one/dp/0330438751/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1315320280&sr=1-1 for my birthday. Also a load of garble to be honest!Bump due 22nd September0 -

Would you still be able to feel baby's feet move during contractions?Bump due 22nd September0 -
just back from midwife, she gave bump a good old feel and has decided the baby is a "fair size"!!!!!! Last one was 9lb 10 and this one feels like a baby whale so i'm wondering what she thinks a fair size is?????
also told me if i wanted, i could be induced on Friday, gonna have a think about it tonight, heard some right horror stories about inductions! anyone on here had one?Skint, but happy (ish):p0 -
Hayley I think you should still feel movement but it might slow down?
Twinkle I was induced but it ended up in emergency c-section due to DS2's size. Although I did get to fully dilated quite quickly they were blinking painful contractions! There was no build up to them, it was like BAM and there you go. Plus it took me over a day from insertion of the pessary to having my waters broke as I wasn't favourable. Not ideal when you have other children at home as you could be there a while.Thank you to everyone for sharing competitions!0 -

Havent been though it myself, but i heard that the contractions are often more painful than if a labour begins on its own because your body hasnt had time to work up to them and hense build up the endorphins.:jProud mummy to a beautiful baby girl born 22/12/11 :j0
