Morning all. Well i am still having back pain ever 10 mins or so and they last about 1 min, not in any way unbearable yet though. At 4.30 i lost my 'Baby cork' (hubby's name for the m plug) wow they're funny looking things:) Can anyone remind me when i'm supposed to ring the hospital, i can't for the life of me remember what the midwife said?

Think i might go and have a bath so that if things get moving i'm all ready to go:)

Congrats - looks like baby will make an appearance shortly! I'm so jealous!!!:T:T

Goood Morning. Good luck for today Ecoelle, hope it all goes smoothly :)

I've got a doctors appointment back of nine, also had to dig my UGG boots out, first time wearing them since February. It's getting chillier here.
The frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.
  • *yawn* morning all!

Glad to hear you finally got some sleep Womble! Second the advice to have something cold to drink, that'll soon get bump moving!

Fingers crossed this is it for you Ecoelle!

Kira - I'd add a couple of nice soft towels - NHS towels are great if you like them crispy!

Is it not completely irrelevant to normal people? If you werent there and dont know anyone affected then it is like every other event throughout history surely and not pertinent to us mortal beings..

I am with the conspiracy theorists that it was all staged in order to create racial and religious hatred.

Couldn't agree more tbh, DS's birthday is the important thing about September 11th :D. He's such a sensitive soul so we've never mentioned the attacks - he's made the connection himself now he's older, but I think because we've never made a fuss about it he's not bothered that it just happened to occur on his birthday!

Hadn't heard that conspiracy theory! We like a good conspiracy in our house, DH's current obsession is that the Titanic wasn't actually the Titanic and the boat at the bottom of the sea is the sister ship, all as part of insurance fraud!

Did I say the car passed its MOT yesterday and didn't cost us a penny? Well, because of that, I can order the carpet for the living room! I will get this house straight!

DH is taking me to Asda tonight. Dreading it for the walk but am quite excited about leaving the house! I haven't done that for nearly a week and a change of scenery will be very welcome :)

Come on boldies, pop some babies out :D lol lots of labour vibes xxx
  • 40+3 today and no sign of her making an appearance :(
had the worst night sleep ever, was very tired but so restless.
Did a big asda shop yesterday and forced myself to have a mooch round town, in the hope that me getting annoyed at all the mums buying last minute school bits would start me off but nooooooooooooo!!!
Rang daughters school and told them i wouldnt be bringing her back until baby is here, she's moved into a new class and her new teacher hasnt had any training in regards to her diabetes so until thats been done i have to go back an forth doing blood tests and injections, so it's a case of drop her off at 9, back at 10.30 for blood test, back at 12 for injection, back at 2 for blood test, pick her up at 3............not gonna happen! they were very understanding and at tops she'll only miss a week!
another thing to sort is babys name.........havent got a clue what to call her.
    HURRY UP BABY!!!!!!!
    Skint, but happy (ish):p
  • Good luck Ecoelle and labour vibes to the boldies

I had a pants night sleep, my hips and calves were killing, plus every time i woke up i couldnt feel Elvis moving and panicked - when you look at the bump i can see movement and have felt definate kicks today so im sure all is fine but it was still a bit of a bad night. I think most of that may be something to do with the weeding and gardening i did yesterday, oh, and the dusting in every room and the baking ... thinking about it its my own fault so dont give me any sympathy lol

I am off for reflexology today but its 2 bus rides across town and im not sure which buses to catch and the bus system up here is different to that back in Gloucestershire so its all a bit confusing - that and im kinda thinking that if i have to stress about catching 2 buses there and 2 busses back, paying for tickets, working out timings etc for an appointment that is supposed to be relaxing it seems a bit ironic lol, but it did really help last time so am sure it will be worth it.

Im now faced with the task of finding something suitable to wear as 39 + 2 means all my warm/waterproof clothes are normal size not heffer size, wish me luck lol

    Puzzled
