OHHHHHH how exciting, GOOD LUCK!!! am sorry but not much use really, i seem to recall ringing them because they had gotten really close together and really regular, when i got in to hospital i was only 5 cm dilated so ended up not popping her out for another 5hrs and 15 mins lol.

Thanks guys, i think i will go and have my bath then see how i'm doing in an hour or so, then call the ward just to get their advice.

My midwife said you'll know when to come in, because when you ring to check with the ward, you won't be able to hold a conversation - If you can converse normally, then its probably too early.
Have to point out, that this is just the advice from my MW, and i've not had mine yet, so one of the more experienced ladies my contradict the above advice!

Bump is very quiet this morning :( and I had a decent night sleep with very little pain. Hmmm ... wondering if I should be worried? :o

Am sure your bump is fine have a cold drink,(mine moves more with tea tho, but i am a bit odd) and give it a little jiggle, it could just of been that you were sooooo tired that the baby could of been doing back flips all night but you just had to rest.

At the moment i have been getting really weird movement i cant feel it but i can see it and touch it with my hand like on the outside iyswim :o

WW lay on your back, legs in air. I realised bump was quiet last night - I swear I thought OH had squashed her when we was erm .... cuddling the day before. Rang hospital, they said if I was really worried to go in but to try elevating my legs. I did it and she moved :-) x

I'm off work this week, still kept dd in at day nursery for a break! She was brilliant yesterday, she went out with my mum and said "now you will be ok on your own won't you mummy?" - she's going to be a great big sister.

Suppose I best get up - am being lazy and waiting in bed on dd to come and "wake" me but I think she's snoring still lol

Have a great day everyone x

    Morning all...

Yep. Sofa is now preferred bedplace. I don't have to feel sore trying to walk up the stairs, and I can actually sleep.

DH on the other hand- he's being a trooper and sleeping on the floor. Normally he can't sleep unless he knows he's in a bed. Probably didn't help this morning that I dropped my phone on his head when the alarm went off, then stood on his foot.

He's collecting a missed parcel for me today, and I have no idea what it is. I want it now! I normally know exactly what's arriving, so this one's got me as I don't think I'm waiting on anything. I like big boxes full of goodies. :) I also like surprises, so having a memory less eidetic than a goldfish is beneficial at the moment!

Ecoelle- fingers crossed! Excited for you, and can't wait to hear how it's going/ went.....

i would take lip balm and hand cream for your mum. the hospitals always make me dry and my skin cracks.

I went to sleep at 8pm last night and struggled to get out of bed 7.45 this morning. So tired. oh well at least it passes time
