I don't want school to go back, i'm going to miss my little helper! He's been carrying most of the shopping and even my handbag sometimes if I hide it in a rucksack. :D

Woke up with wrist and ankle ache again, but also a feeling like there's a puppy curled up against my stomach, aww! :D

.Never mind, only 2 weeks at work then hopefully (midwife permitting) we shall be off to Majorca :j I hope she will write me a letter to fly in my maiden name, as my passport is still in my maiden name

EEEk. I hate to say it, but you probably ought to bite the bullet immediately, and pay the extra for an emergency passport appointment. I work in the airline industry, and whilst you used to be able to use a passport in one name, as long as you had the marriage certificate with you that showed both, i dont believe that it is allowed now. Certainly the airline i work for wont accept that, and i dont know any that do. It would be awful to turn up and not be allowed to travel. Have you rung the airline you are flying with to check that they will allow it?
If they don't you can either ring the passport office, and get an appointment at the nearest regional office for a fast or same day service, or there are companies (like CIBT who i used for the same reason!) who will go and do it all for you, but they charge a fee so not cheap, i think it is now a total of £170 for a 10 day service. On the other hand, the train/car costs to a regional office for the day could cost about the same as their fee.

DD1 Can very occasionally be helpful, the last week she's been a right pain though, because the family they've been visiting let her be a pain, don't really tell her off and she still gets treats, and I get left to sort the aftermath of that out!

I am feeling a lot more wriggles now from bump :D

Got a bit annoyed with OH yesterday (nothing major mind - it's probably just me) and am refraining from texting him now because I'm feeling a bit neglected and I know the text will end up being catty and then it'll all spiral and we'll end up falling out.

Oh and Squeak smells, she is over the other side of the room and I can smell her from here! I suppose it's good as she does tend to get constipated and there was no grumbling to go with this one... Probably because I've had her eating fruit and high fibre cereal all week :rotfl:

Morning all, well i slept most of the day yesterday and then managed to sleep most of last night too! Although i had to roll from my left side to my right side every couple of hours due to pain in my hips. Hope that everyone is ok today, my hubby has the day off work, this is normally unheard of on a Sunday so i think we'll spend it together watching tv and eating nice food, then maybe go for a walk round the park later.

Labour Vibes to you Lozzy and you never know it might happen today :D

If nothing goes wrong with me this time bump is likely to have a January birthday as I've never gone into labour on my own... not even after my waters broke with my twins, I was twiddling my thumbs in hospital for days waiting to be induced!

I've been induced at 35+4, 37+4 and 42 weeks lol

    Thank you delain :D

I shouldnt moan because i`m not in pain, and i have had such a easy pregnancy, i`m just totally bored stiff but at the same time i cant really be bothered to do anything lol. I think i need to go run about the park with DD and the dogs for a bit see if that will help, if nothing else it amuses the OH to watch me run/waddle around.
  • Tomorrow is induction day - I am scaaaaaared! I don't think I am worried about the labour so much as the possibility of having to be in hospital for days trying to get it going. I don't think Flump is ready to come out at all and I hate the idea of being stuck on a ward with lots of other ladies (unless they are all as lovely as you of course ;))

A week since I finished work and I'm already suffering from cabin fever :D I can sympathise with the boredom and would love a holiday right now!
Kira's suggestion to get a new passport is a good one. Assuming that the ticket is in your married name wonder womble??

Kira honey, sorry to hear about your troubles. I agree with the other girls that your pregnancy will be something positive and exciting in the months to come. You are wonderful to even think about cutting short your ML to live with and care for your mum. Hopefully NHS or Macmillian will provide the care and you can be there for company and support.

Also agree that work can't forcibly start your maternity leave before your 36th week. Definately try and have a meeting with your HR dept and see what assistance they can give you. Tell them how difficult you are finding things. Companies have a lot of discretion regarding pay. It's basically up to them if they want to pay you more than the MINIMUM 5 days special leave. Worth a try anyway. Hugs!!

Any sign of babies arriving? Big vibes to the boldies.

  • no sign of anything here :(
baby is kicking and punching like theres no tomorrow, it's quite uncomfy and by the force of which i can feel her i'm thinking she's no dainty wall flower, lol.
Gonna have a long hot soak and go for a walk up the pier and back, even though i find walking a huge task, it feels like i've a bowling ball between my legs :)
    Skint, but happy (ish):p
