Thanks peeps. And thanks for Macmillan links. I've had a look through the stuff on financial help, and it looks like it is mainly means tested/benefit linked which means i earn too much- and whilst mum is on her 6 months full paid sick, she will be too.
My sister and I have both suggested talking to Macmillan already- we will keep trying, but at the moment she doesnt want to think of herself as "an ill person" so cant face speaking to people that are there for sick people..

When I was at hairdressers yesterday she asked me if I was going out last night - errr no. Oh, have you got anything else planned - errr no, a date with the sofa, laptop and TV same as every other night for the past 20 odd weeks.

26 weeks today :j Another bad night last night with back and hip pain, I was awake just about every hour trying to turn over. At least at the moment I can lie in or sleep during the day, I'm dreading Thursday when my Doctor's note runs out and I go back to work. I know the GP will give me another note, but all this staying at home is bad for my mental health and I'm sick of looking at my house. Never mind, only 2 weeks at work then hopefully (midwife permitting) we shall be off to Majorca :j I hope she will write me a letter to fly in my maiden name, as my passport is still in my maiden name :eek:

Aargghhh pain, pain and more pain! I do not remember getting this much pain with my pelvis last time. I got it earlier but definitely not this bad. Seems to be constant waaaaaaaaahhhhhh!

Kandboys - ive woke up with pelvic pains too and i fell up the stairs yesterday afternoon which has left a nice bruise on my left hip and thats hurting like hell too.

had another big cry yesterday to OH 'are you in labor?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!' 'no' 'why are you crying?' 'I DON'T KNOOOOOOOOOOOOOW!'

Yep raining here too and both my boys are off to a beach themed party! They are going to be freezing!! Think jeans and jumpers over the top until they get there would be a good idea
