    We dont do talking.

I think maybe it's time you started.

I can't bear to think that I could be making someone feel as bad as your OH is making you feel and that person couldn't tell me :(

He he yes went for a curry on Saturday night - it wasn't too hot though. I was also worried about heartburn. Hubby keeps reminding me I'm not actually due till Friday - I am just desperate for something to happen and while I'm happy (ish) to wait until due date I can't bear the thought of still being here in another 2 and a half weeks. This whole exercise is a lesson in how to be patient (not something I'm very good at :rotfl:)

OMG - I think we must be twins!! How annoying are you finding it when people tell you to be patient, esp as you've not hit your EDD?! Grrr I hate that but equally find it funny that they're saying that after texting/ringing etc to see if I've had the baby! DH is all chilled which is annoying - it's not him who can't sleep! I cannot stop scratching either.

Mimi and PP I feel for you both. I have no doubt that you'll make the decisions that are right for you. Whatever you decide to do you'll have the support of us lot when you need a rant.

Mimi and PP, I feel for you as well- it doesn't sound all that easy for either of you at the moment, but feel free to rant on in here, there'll always be someone around.

I am one of those irritating people that means "If you dont know then you should as it is all your fault" when I say nothing is wrong... he was informed of this yesterday.

my hips and back are agony today.. I have been awake pretty much every 15 seconds since about 3:30am... about the time OH came to bed!!!

I need to sort some more gibble in my room today and get the boxes and boxes of books sorted and fill the boys new bookcase.. that should free up some space.. I need some more storage boxes for under Tiddes bed to put the baby stuff in Squeak has outgrown until Dot fits in it.. I need to sort Squeaks drawers too as I am still pulling out 6-9 month stuff which hasnt fit her in months. I have loads of really cute little summer outfits that need to be flung so may try to get them on ebeast or fairy exchange later.. if I can find the energy.

On a happy note.. the finial from the back room the window chaps flicked off turned up and I got in trouble for climing on a chair to put it back up.. apparently I over exert myself when I should ask for help.. my point being I shouldnt have to ASK for help it should be forthcoming! Apparently I shouldnt be moving cupboards or beds or such things... well they dont move themselves!

I need to check the baby list, make sure we have everything.. except the cot which is out of stock for 4-8 weeks everywhere.. and dress Squeak ready to go to her favourite shop... Tesco.. with OH

Free Nuby breast pump just arrived - that was quick!!
  • Aaaah Mimi, I bet that was a big shock to you. Even worse that this isn't the first time he has done it to you. But if this has happened before and he hasn't taken heed of what you have said and how it affected you then he may never change. What a nightmare for you :( Take some time to get your head together and figure out what you want, don't rush into any hasty decisions. Does your OH even know what he wants? He pretends to be your OH but doesn't want physical affection, and is texting another girl. He is making you feel as though you're in the wrong to expect cuddles and affection from him.

It sounds like you and PP are both in the same boat with men who want to be pushed so they can lay the blame for a break up at your door rather than being the b@stard who walked out on his pregnant OH! I really feel for you both :(

Oooh you jammy jaffa!!! Is it manual or electric? No sign of mine :( Someone I know got there's last week so now I'm starting to panic that the postie has stolen it  How long would be reasonable for a hormonal pregnant woman to wait before accusing him? :D

I've had a lazy morning f@rting about on the laptop because I can't be bothered. Back is still troubling me and affecting my sleep. I can't turn over and I can't get out of bed myself so OH has to assist me, which is impacting on his sleep, but he is taking it in good humour.

So far today I've started a list of Christmas present ideas for people, a list of books I want, a list of all the baby equipment we have and what we need, and a hospital bag list. I might start a birth plan aswell, just for the fun of it. Rock and roll eh? :rotfl:

Womble.. get the huge rolls of cotton wool it is cheaper and far better and easier to use.. I tear it into strips before I need it and the strips into 4 or 5 depending on the size of the roll. the stupid ball things and pads are neither use for ornament. For hospital I got a cotton wool pleat and each pleat I tore in half and used that... not as cheap as the roll but easier to transport! I then used the empty pleat bag to refill from the roll. And instead of the posh vaseline we got the cheapy white petroleum jelly from anywhere for a fraction of the cost.. it is exactly the same.

I never took extra anything for OH when I had any of mine.. but there is a huge tesco round the corner from the hospital OH could make it there and back in about 10 minutes probably... and the staff are usually good at providing tea/coffee and toast

Can I add lansinoh to your list and hospital bag if you are planning to bf?? and maybe a coupe of muslins they are often a bit mucusy and sticky when new and tend to sick up the mucus after a feed... and metanium for sore baby bottoms to your shopping list.. it is SO much better than sudocrem.. plus you get tiny pots of sudocrem in your bounty pack I am still using mine a year later!

Another thing i got was one of the electronic forehead/ear thermometer.. def been a god send with my lot

Is anyone else really really clumsy? Pretty please don't let it just be me :o

I am stumbling about all over the place like a drunk, and I broke a cup yesterday (one of my new ones, I was quite upset!) and dropped probably 80% of the things I tried to pick up :( I have a neurologist appt in October, this is nothing like as dramatic as it was last year, but it's enough to make me feel like my body is playing tricks on me :(:(

ETA:WW if you do decide to accuse the postie of stealing your breast pump, please record his reaction and put it on youtube :rotfl:

Hi ladies, I haven't been on here in a long time but have read through from time to time.
Mimi and PP I'm sorry your OHs are making you go thru all that. Don't take any sh** of them but equally I agree with WW that they are prob waiting for you to push them out cos they're too chicken to do, say anything about it.

WW, for your vests and sleepsuits, what size have you got? I have a few 0-3 months clothes but nothing in newborn. What do you ladies who have had kids already recommend? Will 0-3 be too big to start off with?
