    hi all,

been off the radar for a few days, been so busy and just havent had time to get on and post.

PP hope your OH sorts himself out!

JCR hope you are feeling a bit better today!

Feet are like wooden blocks, think Elvis is now horizontal as opposed to back to back (or it feels like they are anyway) and am so tired, think i will be finishing work just in time.

Only 2 days at work then im all done :D finish on Tuesday and then i get to come home, no more living apart in the week and no more working away from OH :D:D:D Cannot wait!!

The only sad thing is leaving all my freinds behind but i know from experience there are those that will fall by the wayside and those that will always stay in touch :)

Hope everyone is having a pain free and relaxing sunday!

    Puzzled xx
i think my little lump is transverse too now, altho still with her back to mine, then other times i swear she's breech.............ive officially given up trying to guess :p
    Skint, but happy (ish):p

I will start my mat leave at 33 weeks but am on annual leave now (I'm 32 weeks) so have finished work.

I was planning to start mat leave at 36 weeks and finish for my annual leave at 34 weeks but like seafarer's wife I have struggled with my health and so have took early mat leave rather than sick (only get ssp now).

I think it is probably a good thing to be flexible though as you're not sure how you're going to feel in later pregnancy!

Congrats Caelshorn!! A lovely name choice too. I hope you are both doing well and you enjoy motherhood.

AFM - nothing. DH said we'll go for a walk today to see if that helps encourage this little boy out. Tbh I don't feel like anything will happen before my EDD anyway.

I start mat leave today at 39w5 but have been off on annual leave for the past 2 weeks.

    Morning ladies.

    Huge congrats caelshorn.

Well surprisingly I've had a very pain free weekend and I've slept at night. Feel really good. Baby movements have really dropped off and I only get a movement if I bring on. Period pains still there but a dull ache now. But I have to say im bricking it now.

I'm so excited , you know how when it crimbo , or goingon holiday, doing house stuff, new cAr you get excited but this is an omg I've made a little baby, something most perfect and amazing. There is nothing that beats that excitement or makes you feel as fantastic. Having a child nothing compares with it. And I know I've done this 3 times before and will prob do it again but it really makes u feel so humble and grateful for just the simple things in life.

I really can't wait till he's here it just that the section Part scares me so I'm blocking that out , lol.

Still not Packed a bag yet so will try and do that today. Did organise the pram tho. And hung my hand made toys etc from it and put in my blanket I made for baby. Looks gorgeous I'm gonna be so proud pushing him in it.

Well sorry for waffling on. I've got my clerking today then thats it wed when we shall be meeting our little man.

Congrats Caelshorn! Josephine's a lovely name, bet you're enjoying looking at her!

    Maternity leave-

My EDD is 09th Dec, I've put in to start Maternity 25th Nov. A fortnight ahead. I have a fortnight's holidays booked before that too. Waiting to get the official letter back from bosses- at the moment, they've just rota'd me on as normal after my annual leave! (online system.) Will ring them if I don't hear back.

Jcr- I know the feeling. It's weird to think about- I can feel Hitchhiker inside me, but watching people with buggies and babies still seems a bit alien! Even though I know that'll be me soon.

    Morning ladies

Congrats to caelshorn - beautiful name! :) Enjoy her! :)

    Welcome to all newbies! *waves*

I've missed loads since I was last on here on Thursday - just too much to comment on (I'll do what I remember):

Sorry you're in so much pain JCR

Happy EDD for Claire for yesterday.

Mat leave - I finish at 38 weeks and have 2 weeks annual leave before ML kicks in on my EDD. 12 days to go - CAN NOT WAIT!!

I'm doing ok apart from being huge and having a bottom in my ribs - am trying to encourage the little monkey downwards by bouncing on my ball every day. I think he likes it up there though :(

    Have a good day all

    xDx

  • Morning all!

Congratulations Caelshorn! Am now wondering about my recurring urine infection...

Welcome to all the newbies! There's been an influx this weekend, lots of babies :D

Glad you've had a better weekend JCR. I get what you mean about the section bit, but I would love to know excatly when this one was going to arrive - the waiting is a total killer!

Hope OH managed to pull his head out of his !!!! Pigpen - can't see it somehow from what you've said previously though, so sending hugs in your direction...

Maternity leave - I think mine officially starts on 26th Sept, so two weeks before my EDD of 10th Oct. Doesn't really make a huge amount of difference seeing as I've been off sick since February but you got to jump through these hoops *roll eyes*

I've had a pretty carp weekend pain wise and no sleep so not in a particularly pleasant mood. My house is full of bits of wood and plasterboard too which, even though I know it'll be on the ceiling by the end of the week, is really driving me mad. Hoping the plasterer comes soon, he's fitting me in around his other jobs and he's promised it'll be this week.

In good news though I managed to shave my legs yesterday which was a bit of an overdue achievement lol and today's task is going to be toenail painting! Should be worth a laugh...
