Hi ladies, nice to see lots of chat.

Looking forward to reading updates from Sequeena and Abby. I hope they're both ok and with their babies now.
No news my end apart from some mega cramps earlier but they felt like I needed a number 2?! Other than that I'm pretty much ticking along.

Re the changing table, I was going to get one but everyone who heard told me it was a total waste of money and space. I didn't bother.

Just managed to order £72 worth of nappies and wipes from Mothercare for £33 delivered. Chuffed with that, but I really don't have a clue about sizes and stuff, so ordered some size 1, 2 and 3's. I'm totally clueless :o

I've always changed mine on the floor on a mat to start with or if the nappy was epic, otherwise just on the blanket or direct on the floor.

I'm trying to tidy up as my brother and his gf will be visiting this week, although they are staying with my mum mostly. My dining table now has a clean cloth and mats, I don't even want to think about what it was like before! Just got to tackle the washing mountain and kitchen now.

Best start thinking about lunch... I've got no idea what we will have though. I might zap Squeak some leftover macaroni cheese (OH made it in the end) and salad. I suppose I should wait until OH and Twin1 are back before feeding the others.

Gilly it's always best to err on the side of caution and get bigger, because the baby is more likely to grow than shrink ;)

Just saw that thread with glitch on, will have to order some I think!
I also have a 15% off voucher for mothercare so was having a look to see if there is anything else we need. We are getting the nursery furniture from there but there is already an offer on to get 20% off when you buy 3 items of furniture so doubt very much whether we'll be able to use the 15% code as well.

Hopefully I've done the right thing, I bought more of the size 3's and they say up to 20lbs? surely it takes your baby a wee while to get to 20lbs? How many nappies am I looking at realistically a day? How stupid do I actually sound :(

I just kept applying all different codes until I ran out. Not sure if they will honour it or not but worth a try :D

Squeak is one in 2 weeks and comfortably in size 4.

She was in size 3 up to about 6-8 months if that helps :)

Oooh that's good then. Thanks so much, God I'll be on here all the time asking loads of stupid questions once the baby is born. I really have no idea about babies, I'll be 15 minutes to change one nappy to start with probably :o
