They dont change dates later on as babies supposedly grow at the same rate until about 12 weeks then at roughly the same rate until about 24 weeks.. it is after that they either get very big or grow slower.
Mine is a huge long snake of a baby like Squeak and daddy... which is fine.. except I am not and I have no room for big long snakey babies!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Need to get my backside in gear and get organised, just wondering has enyone any experience of baby bedding from amazon, i'm not bothering with fancy matching items just plain sheets and blankets, amazon prices seem pretty reasonable? i think they where £5.69 for 2 moses basket fitted sheets is this cheap?
xxx
I bought two fitted sheets for moses basket for £5 from Matalan - they have lovely blankets & sleeping bags at good prices too. I can't remember where I got my flat sheets from!
My dates have only changed once - at my 12 week scan even though Giblet is 'light' (from 29th September to 1 Oct). Got my 4th scan on Monday (32 wks) but OH not sure if he can make itNever mind - sonographer looks like Marco Pierre White

I mean this in the nicest possible way, but we haven't usually heard from Abby by this time in the day?! Fingers crossed there's a reason.
Good luck to sequeena too if you're about.0 -

No reason. I was sulking.
I had back ache last night, I thought OOOOH maybe its a sign. No. I needed a number 2. Woke up with it and though OOOOh maybe it REALLY is a sign. No needed another number 2.
Although its still there. Its just I have no ache round the front.
In other news, I did a massive parp last night in bed, a proper growler (I'm not ashamed of pregnancy sideeffects, it amuses me) and I kid you not, it made the baby jump. I felt him go OOOFT. So I'm thinking, I might just eat lots of rubbish and drink lots of fizzy and see whether I can parp him out. He'll be so fed up of jumping in fright that he will vacate my body as fast as he can for fear of exploding.
Still got this lower backache, not had it since I got pregnant actually. its not in the centre of my back, its off to the side, and I do feel heavier than usual. I'm taking the little sister to pizza express as they have a £10 offer for Piccolo and pizza. Which is unfair because a) I want to eat more than just a pizza and b) how is my 8 year old sister going to fit a starter, pizza a pudding AND a hot chocolate in her. I will be taking her dough balls. Or just going full out and buying my own dough balls. As long as I get some balls.
Smiley. Congratulations. That wasn't hard to say at all....this is where I walk around making Mutley noises. However you owe it at least to post a photo. Babies melt my heart, and its feeling stone cold at the moment. I hope I am nice to my sprog when he is born, I can just sense that I will glare at him whilst he sleeps....Fluffy says he can expect me to sleep next to the cot or rather watch him breathe. Nahhh I've got one of those baby monitors to do it for me. Fluffy can sleep in the cot, baby can take the bed.Money money money.

Hiya,
Had my 32 week check-up and scan. :j Baby is head down, happy days, and weighing 5 lb. Hope i don't go overdue with this one, as it'll be quite a big baby then.
Also, i need to buy a few newborn vests and baby grows (preferably with built in cuffs). I had lent mine out to a few people and they have come back very stained. And i just don't want to use them now. Any suggestions (love Next but too expensive for newborn) where to purchase a few basics??
Seriously regret lending out so much stuff. My electric breast pump got broke and not sure if the [STRIKE]person[/STRIKE] culprit is going to buy me a new one. Also lent a baby sling that has disappeared.

Matalan and the supermarkets are always a good bet for cheap basics. My other first choice is La Redoute, who have some lovely kids things, including their "low price" range (although none of it is that pricey!). Worth a look online. If you havent ordered from them before, you can usually get money off first order, and cashback from topcash back (and maybe other cashback websites too). Plus they have some decent maternity/nursing nighties, and bits too.Married 13/03/10 #1 DD born 13/01/12!!

Sainsburys do packs of three babygrows with built in mitts for £8 but I managed to get quite a few packs half price in the sale.
Asda do them but they are not in packs only on certain single babygrows.:happylove DD July 2011:happyloveAug 13 [STRIKE]£4235.19[/STRIKE] £2550.00 :cool:0 -
Sorry Abby - I was hoping for you. Perhaps another RLT bath with added waterfall may be in order.
I too have found the supermarket packs really good value and they've washed up really well.0 -
