Oh I hope you can shift it soon. That'd be typical getting a lurgy in time for the big day. I had a cold in the early days and it was a real stinker but since then I've been healthy - there you go, I've just jinxed myself.

I do think it can't be long for you so get your energy levels up!

And my slippers stink! Must throw them in the washer!

Dot thinks my pelvis is a mosh pit!!! Right hip keeps trying to dislocate itself... and me!

Congrats to Apricot - what a beautiful little lady! Well done on due date baby and it being so quick!!

Abbey - hope the sweep starts to work for you soon..

My TENS machine arrived last night and so DH is under strict instruction to understand how to use it before 37 weeks - it looks easy enough but I think it's the least he can do

I've packed bits of my bag - can see me doing it over and over again just to make sure all is there!!

Which one did you get? Buy or rent? I can't figure out if there's really any difference between them all. Apparently we can hire one from the community midwives for about £20. Pick it up at one appointment and they collect it when they do the home visit after giving birth. Sounds like less hassle but not sure if I should be looking for a 'good' one?

I bought an unused one from Ebay for £38 - it's an Elle Tens one.

No idea if it's any good or not - it's looks the business though!!

Apricot - congrats on your beautiful little thing - so adorable! Can I ask where you got that sleepsuit from? My friend also had a lovely brightly coloured striped one, but I can only find white which is very boring!
Where do you get 'proper' knickers that are cheaper than disposables for the hospital? I bought 5 or 10 (I can't remember) from Tesco's for £1.75 the other day - can you get proper cotton for less than that?

I got mine from Matalan - they were only about £2-3. I can't stand the paper ones but the black Matalan ones seem to be fine

I bought big pants from primark - 4 for £2.50
