Kitten_Pie wrote: »Hi,
I am on the 12-24 week thread at the moment, but was wondering if I could be added to the list here too as I have been lurking.
EDD = 20th December 2011 However Consultant has said they will be here by 23rd November 2011 so not sure what date is best. Expecting 2 little boys.
Welcome! I've added you. Congrats on the twins!! xxThank you to everyone for sharing competitions!0 -

so glad i didn't order it from amazon this morning when i saw the price was down to £69.99:)
i think that's everything sorted for baby now, just got to get my hospital bag all sorted then packed.
how many packets of maternity pads should i get? i've got one pack of 10 so far, will i need more? i almost screamed in horror when i saw how thick and long they are  i hate sanitary towels at the best of times, but these are just :eek::eek:
I know most people have said just to buy the one pack of thick maternity pads-but i personally got through a few packs as i had stitches and needed the padding for several days at least before i felt less sore and swapped to normal towels. As a red head-i also bled a lot!Mommy to Elliot (5) and Lewis (born xmas eve 11!)0 -

Oh abby I really know how you feel sweetie. My boys were 13 and 12 days late and it's horrible. Sending you labour vibes and lots of {{hugs}} xxThank you to everyone for sharing competitions!0

I'm actually really upset about it because Fluffy (nickname for OH after watching despicable me) goes home Sunday afternoon and if baby isn't here then I have to do labour with just mum, but fluffy calms me down etc. He can't take a day off work to come up if I go into labour when he's at work as he isn't the biological father. He has Wednesday and Thursdays off but it's still 60 miles to drive! And I want him here for the birth because it would help us get off to a good start.Money money money.

If it helps I'm a brunette and I bleed a lot too!
The maternity pads do look like nappies... but seriously if you do have stitches you'll be glad of the cushiony nappy-ness. I can just imagine how scratchy the always ones would feel!Mum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession:o
