I'm sure I once read on here (but can't find it now, unfortunately), that if you are going to be around at the time you actually want it to start - say Saturday 6.00pm - you can 'Schedule' it for a time well in the future (say a week or 2) & then go back in on Saturday to 'Edit' it & upload it there & then - this cancels out the 'Scheduling' charge.
I haven't tried it - but it makes total sense. May try it for this w/end. If it works & I did read it on here - many thanks to the OP.
Can someone please confirm if the scheduled fee can be cancelled out? only 6p but have quite a lot to add and every little helps:)sealed pot chellenger no992Total for 2011= £198
mfw= 2011 overpayment =
Mfw 2012 no#25=OP target £2000

As a non-business seller I think its great and think they should always be free listing - they make their money in the final value fee?
I sell in the collectable market as a business. Every one of these free weekends floods my market with tons of junk items , many from businesses trying to pretend they are private sellers. So much rubbish means serious buyers get bored wading through it all and so in order to maximise my profits I cannot sell anywhere near a free listing day, which means I barely list much at all on my business account.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. As long as you manually edit the listing and list it before the scheduled start time you will not pay the 6p.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. HTH.
I did quite a few last free-listing days. I'm finding household/garden/office things going quite well, but clothes, accessories & cosmetics/toiletries, very slow - is anyone else finding the same?
Good info thanks! So does this mean it's a 6p listing and not free!!0 -
Thanks for the reminder. I've got loads of clothes to list, looks like I'll be doing it this weekend

Yes you are right - it was sellers with less than 25 feedbacks that are limited:'Private' sellers are allowed 100 free listings at 99p or under per calendar month. The 101st listing would still be allowed but would be charged an insertion fee.
On free listing days as long as the item is listed a £1 or more it does not come out of the 100 free 99p listings at all.
"For private sellers registered on the eBay.co.uk and eBay.ie sites- From this week private sellers with a feedback score of less than 25, will be automatically limited to 100 live listings/total quantity at any point in time on ebay.co.uk and ebay.ie".

I have noticed that if you are clicking on relist to relist an item, no matter what the starting price, it uses your 100 99p free listing limit.A home without a dog is like a flower without petals.0

AS long as the item is over £1 it should not come out of your allowance. I wasn't sure there was actually anyway at all of seeing how many sub £1 items you have listed a month, so are you sure you are seeing this right?I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. It's at the bottom of my eBay page. It shows how many free 99p listings I have used and how many I have left. I listed a few items yesterday which did not come out of the 99p free listings but when I clicked on relist on 3 items which did not sell it came out of the remaining 99p free listings that I have remaining. The starting price was over 99p too.A home without a dog is like a flower without petals.0
