Has any one had a problem logging into ebay this morning ? It keeps telling me my login details are incorrect but I know I'm definately entering the right ones.

longtimelurker54 if i were you i wouldn't list so many items,if Ebay limit your account you will be scuppered, they could class you as a business seller listing in that kind of volume.

You can still see your account fees in your seller account.

    Hi,

I listed 300 items last free listing day (a combination of some new ones and some relisted which have been listed a few times). I'm not a business just have inherited lots of stuff over the years and am trying to make some pennies whilst decluttering.

What has been said above about ebay classing you as a business seller and changing fees now worries me. Each time I have re-listed I check the page and it always says 0.00 insertion fees etc. I assume that ebay are just charging the 10% final listing fee but haven't actually been checking this.

I haven't had any emails from ebay as the other post above has but am worried! There used to be a way you could check an itemised ebay invoice where you could see the amount each item sold for and the commission charged but this seems to have disappeared. Please does anyone know if it's still accessible anywhere?

    Many thx!

Don't worry they don't just upgrade you, you get an email warning to say that you need to upgrade and you can't list anymore until you do so.

Probably just the usual Friday morning maintenance. Try again later and it should be fine.

How often do free listings come up?

I've got a whole load of stuff at home that I could do with getting rid of, and may spend some time getting photos done etc.

At the moment it is every second weekend which is getting a bit silly.

Ebay seem quite determined to destroy business sellers.

Don't rely on that though, watch for the annoucements first as they do vary them.

Oh no, I totally understand that.

As long as I've got the photos and descriptions ready, so that when the free weekend does come along it should save me some time.

Can I just ask why it is silly? Its a genuine question not an argument starter.

As a non-business seller I think its great and think they should always be free listing - they make their money in the final value fee?
