so you need to look at each company and find the best deal... however what you save through quidco you could get a good package deal in another retailer who dont run through quidco...0 -

Hi I too am on the lookout for a Wii. Deals are quite hard to come by for the Wii as it still sells so well. I've noticed that Gamestation offer good deals now and again. Last week they had Wii + Wii Sports + Any Other game for £199.99. A few weeks previous to that I believe they had the same bundle on offer for £179.99! So i'm waiting for that one to come up again0 -
When I was buying my wii I used this site to look for deals as it updates when and where wii consoles are in stock and, more importantly, wii bundles.
http://www.wii-consoles.co.uk/default.asp
I got mine from John Lewis, it was £218.95 with wii play (so I got an extra wiimote) and I used a £20 voucher I found on http://www.hotukdeals.com/main.html which knocked it down to £198.95. I then ordered through Quidco and got £9.75 cashback so it came to just under £190. Ordered Zelda from Gameplay through quidco for £29.99 and got £3.30 cashback so it worked out as £26.69. Well worth it.
Since I bought mine a month ago, even better bundles are coming onto the market so using the website above and looking for some money off vouchers as well, you can grab yourself a bit of a bargain.
Good luck0 -
i ordered one last night for £169.99 (online only) from currys.
enter code AW10AUG in promotional box on basket page.
this offer expires on 14th august

My 2 boys had saved up for a Wii and I looked around for a good deal. I saw that Virgin Megastores have a 10% discount code for Virgin Credit cards (bringing the price for a Wii down to £161.10 (plus 10% off all accessories etc - I ordered £333 worth of Wii ,accessories and games and got it all for just under £300)).
Now this is the interesting bit ! -
I applied and received a virgin credit card last year but changed my mind and it had sat in a drawer unused for 18 months. I dug out the card and activated it and then tried to use it to pay for the Wii. For some reason it would not accept this card and I got fed up and put it through on my normal visa card. Virgin do state that when using the discount code (VM026_03CC10) that if a virgin card is not used then the order will be cancelled. I waited for the call/email so I could then explain that my virgin card would not go through but it never came. The order has gone through with the 10% discount and my Tesco Visa card has been charged with the discounted price.:j
(You do not have to have a card to know the discount code - this is readily available on the Virgin money website)
THANK YOU TO ALL WHO TAKE TIME TO POST COMPETITIONS

And don't forget that you can get student discount at virgin, if you happen to know one (a student, that is
)...got a real good deal on my 360 that way.

We are looking to buy a Wii for the kids for Christmas this year. What are people's opinions on the best time to buy? Is it likely that there will be better offers on the run up to Christmas, or are retailers more likely to bump up the prices and limit stock in the hope of panic buying? Looking for a bundle with maybe the sports pack, big brain academy and wii play, something like that.
