£179... i paid, in my local GAME store, only place in plymouth that had them stocked.....tried everywhere else.... woolworths, hmv, virgin, blockbuster, asda, tesco....

also... most places have the more expensive one stocked (console, and a game, usually about £205-£230) because everyone just wants the consol and wii sports.

woolworths, said they could order me one in and it would take 5 days.....
  • Now available at amazon! 9:55 12/06/07

    Good luck and be quick!
  • Hi

I have a Wii for sale through Ebay at the moment if anyone is interested.

It's just over a month old. Its as new with box, cables, instructions, everything. It's also got the Wii sports game.

    It's on at £180 plus P&P.

Could probably get more but want a quick sale. (Really want to buy a PS3!)

    Item number is 320126396888

I have great feedback, so you can see I'm genuine.

Just thought I'd try and help you guys out.
  • Once again available at amazon! 9:27 19/06/07

Good luck if you missed out last time!

    Anyone...:o
  • I was looking at the weekend and GAME seem to have some good bundles available. Only draw back was it only comes with 1 controller and to get another with the bits i think would be an extra £40 so we were put off for a little longer. Prices will drop a bit i'm sure when availability inproves. And it seems to be doing just that at the moment so might wait a month or two yet.
I'm not lost. I'm just going the long way round.....

I managed to buy a Wii last friday from CEX (Saw the site advertised on here regarding selling of old mobiles)

I was quite lucky and managed to get a brand new will, still in all it's wrappings for £178, although I didn't spend any cash, I traded in old items of mine for it.

When I got it, one of the shop assistants told me that employees of computer stores bulk bought the wii's at discount and sold them on to places like that.

He gave me one example of an employee of Game in Fareham Hampshire buying 20!!! then selling them at CEX getting around £100 profit from each console!!

    no wonder they're in demand.
