We have pre-ordered a Wii from Gamestation today, with a 2-3 week waiting list. Well worth it we thought, may be worth a shot if anyone is still looking for one.

Me & oh thinking about getting a wii. Our last games console was a sega mega drive.

Looking to buy a wii, what should we be looking to buy eg- a bundle or start from scratch with console then buy games.

Looking to start with the active games, what do people suggest & where is the best place/cheapest to buy.

    Cheers in advance
if i had known then what i know now
  • I would say kick off with just the Wii sports game that comes with the console, although I've just got Tiger Woods Golf for it and it's great.

keep an eye on these sites for incoming stock:

apparently if you buy a bundle from Game you can take back the unwanted software to any Game shop for a full refund according to their FAQs section

you will only lose out on the discount obtained by buying in a bundle in the first place

in this case about a fiver

    2. What are GAME.co.uk's returns policies?
GAME.co.uk has recently changed its Returns policies to give you more time to return unwanted or duplicate gifts - please see our online policy below.

Any software may be returned for refund or exchange within 28 days of the despatch date, providing that the seal remains unbroken on the software.

You can return goods to your nearest GAME Store (check our Store Locator to find your nearest GAME Store). Please note: You must return any item using the original invoice supplied with your product and have your credit or debit card used for the original purchase with you for the store to process the refund.

Please note items bought in 'bundle deals', such as 2 for £30.00 or hardware and software packs, if returned separately, will result in the full price being charged for other items in the special offer - and the refund adjusted accordingly.
