I have just bought a Wii off John Lewis site I dont know anyone who has got one so I am looking for advice on good games to get that you can play alone or in pairs groups. Both for adults and girls aged 12 & 13

I believe the deal comes with

Wii console + Wii sports + 1 game + Wii remote
    - Wii remote x 2
    - Wii nunchuk
    - Wii Play (Includes the extra Wii remote)

Can anyone recommend other games and best price places to get them ?

Resident Evil 4 Wii edition, £22.99 at shopto.net. One player only though, but awesome game.

Could try Mario Strikers Charged, online capability with that.

Tiger Woods Golf is good, swing your remote like you would a golf club.
    .....

  • I want a Wii too. But I can't afford it yet. When I get my job that pays an actual salary, I am SO treating myself! :money:

But I'll be a good girl and I'll put a good amount towards debts, too. :T

This seems like a good deal for a basic Wii (comes with Wii sports and Wii Play and an extra remote) for £181.43 after various vouchers / stuff.

If you can't be faffed with mail order, and want more games, then this is probably the best high street deal:

I would recommend that you get Sonic, Excite Truck and Wii Play ~(including the remote).

Better games, but no second controller - I would probably get Wario Ware Smooth Moves and Zelda in this bundle.

If you like Brain Training - I would try this:

This is also meant to be fun:

Of course you could also wait until Super Mario Galaxy, Metroid 3 Corruption and Super Smash Brothers Melee come out - then it might really be worth buying.

that was the post i posted on how to get £30 off a £99 DS lite at littlewoodsdirect.com

and from my quick maths deductions... er £179.99 and 10% discount = £162 and minus a further £23.50 = £138.50 right?

    so more than £40 off

    Hope it helps! ;)

A great budget game for the Wii is the big brain academy. It's good fun for team games, 1 on 1 or just by yourself And when you can get it for under £20 at ASDA you can't go wrong!!!

Also, our local Virgin has had Wii's in and out of stock. Don't forget if they are in stock and you happen to have a student at home... 10% off :D
  • I'm after a Wii now. Holding out for the best offer. Will need 2 controllers though...

John Lewis have put their prices up now - £193.95. (probably due to the £15 code doing the rounds).

    I think I'll wait for a good price with a code ...

However, true to this site I am after it even cheaper so are there any codes for virgin megastore?
