I placed a small order!! £75.00 which came to £30.00...
And as Hamley's are honouring this I have to say Hamley's truely is the GREATEST TOY SHOP in the world.
I bet who ever ordered the snooker table only did so cause they thought Hamley's wouldn't be honouring it either that or they just said they ordered one!!DEBT FREE 23/FEB/07 TWO YEAR's!! £2 £1020.00 Banked New total £268+ and counting SAVINGS 3000.00- ISA £30. :j0 -
I didn't order a thing but hats of to Hamleys. Its seems to be rare that big companies honor these kind of mishaps. Makes you wonder though if they can afford to absorb these loses so readily how much profit they actually make on goods. But at least there will be some happy faces Xmas morning when they get pressies that their parents could not usually afford, well done to all who benefited and a Merry Money Saving Christmas to all.0

there will be no 60% discount

Refusing to play the role of Father Christmas, Hamleys' Chief Executive Officer Nick Mather blamed a "technical error" and refused to honour the sales.
"Multiple use of discount codes contravenes the terms and conditions of the offer," he said in a statement. "These transactions are fraudulent and we are unable to fulfil these orders."
He would not say how many people were involved, but denied reports the exploit had created a shortage of stock.
Customers have been offered the chance to replace their original orders with a 25 percent discount.0 -
Just got this....
Dear Customer
Thank you for your order.
Unfortunately Hamleys experienced a technical error on our site at the weekend. This resulted in you being able to apply a discount code more than once. Multiple use of the discount code contravened the terms and conditions of the offer and as a result we are unable to fulfil your order.
We appreciate that at this time of year no one wants to be disappointed. As a gesture we would like to offer you a 25% discount on your next order. Rest assured if you complete your order by the end of today we will guarantee delivery before Christmas.
To use the offer please enter the promotions code hamref95682 at the checkout stage. This offer is more generous than the original terms of the promotion and is valid for 30 days subject to the terms and conditions below.
The funds which were reserved for your order have been released to your account and will be cleared according to your bank’s procedures. No money has been taken from your account.
We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience that this has caused you. And hope that we can still help to make your Christmas magical.
Best wishes,
Hamleys

I also received the email but have mailed back asking why they have taken so long to reach this decision, making it a rush now as three shopping days have effectively been lost - especially as I've been in contact several times with their Customer Services Dept.
Will report back if I get a response!THE LONDONERS[/COLOR]0 -
