New loophole???

Slate me if you want , but I'm all for genuine offers , no minimum spends etc but they used the right word when they said ''to help consumers exploit it''
I'm not into exploitation personally , yes , I make multiple purchases when allowed , yes I buy Tesco items if they are marked up at 1p but this finding a loophole to exploit leaves a bad taste in my mouth , sorry
I know I'm going to get a barrage of abuse for this but its just my personal opinion , thanks!
:D
I'm not one of ''Lewis's army of followers'' and ''the retailers make millions already'' doesn't cut it with me , not when it means massive exploitation on a large scale which is what looks like is coming!!!
I didn't take part in the ''massive DTD loophole'' either - Personal choice once again!! So am sure we can all do what we want at the end of the day
I agree and i've already been picked at for not liking the fact people were abusing the free cards from funky pigeon..... so i shall say no more
Man who run into airport turn-styles is going to Bangkok
To steal ideas from one person is plagiarism; to steal from many is research

I think its wrong too. We will probably just end up paying more another way. I'm all for a bargain but not exploiting loopholes. People's jobs etc could be at risk if this goes big.
The DTD voucher offer for Tesco against ASDA prices got abused and in the end we all lost out. Tesco just increase prices to make up for losses, then other competitors up their prices, so we all end up paying for other people taking the mick!0 -

You've got to be in it to win it - and it's every man, woman & child for themselves
Early cancellation of DTD was entirely foreseeable because it was clearly a crackpot promotion.
So getting in multiple shops a day for as long as possible became the savvy money saver's prime objective :rotfl:0 -
most of this site is about loopholes (most are legal!)
not the place if you've got a concsienceGRATITUDE WHEN GIVEN, PATIENCE WHEN DENIED

I agree with the Funky Pigeon abuse of code too as in it was meant to be one per person which they did change it to on the second day but ''every man for himself'' just smacks of pure greed and selfishness
It IS possible to have a bargain AND a conscience , you don't have to screw other people to get your bargain
I love it when I get a GENUINE freebie , and one's enough for me - Not milking the Company for all I can get ... There's no point in saying ''have a heart'' on MSE though! LOL!!!

In this weeks email and the word loophole caught my attention0 -
I am thinking it could be related to the ASDA price check...!!! x0

Whover the poster was is immaterial, but I disagree with the comment here. For a brief few week the savvy shoppers had a chance to regain some of the cash that Tescos had been siphoning off for years. Long may it continue. The DTD voucher offer for Tesco against ASDA prices got abused and in the end we all lost out. Tesco just increase prices to make up for losses, then other competitors up their prices, so we all end up paying for other people taking the mick!
The one that really put in my head how much of a mickey take the big supermarkets in this country have become was around Christmas time. It was whilst walking around the local supermarkets that I began to realise tha there were no deals to be had anywhere in the shops other than drink. Everything else had gone up in price to cover the shops loss leaders in alcohol. Fast forward to the middle of January and all of the drinks promos had been and gone, yet there were the staples like beans, pasta, rice et al all at 20% above the price range they were on 2 months previous.
I am sorry, but having lived, worked and traveled around Europe quit a bit recently, this country is the single biggest rip off and mickey take of the entire region of western Europe. We have the worst standard of living, the most expensive prices for even the basics of food, the worst public services and not to mention the fact that the shopping habits of the entire country have been transferred to one of 3 big supermarket chains.
I fail to see how Makro can sell 7.5kg of Roosters potatoes for £3.50 yet the supermarket chains (with their bigger buying power) sell the same potatoes at £1 per kg. Just one of many price differentials that I am unable to explain other than their greed.0
