New loophole???

Hi,

This is technical not a grabbit.....yet. But I'm very intrigued. Please let me know if it would be best to move this to another board.

I have just been flicking through The Grocer magazine and there is an interview with Martin. It questions what is taking up so much of his time at the moment and, I quote 'Lewis is about to unleash his army of followers on another sector. He offers no clues other than that it's not retail, but says he had identified a major loophole and developed a tool to help consumers expolit it'.

The issue was from the 11th of June, so very new. Does anyone know what it could be??? I'm all excited after the massive DTD loophole :rotfl:

So if it's not a grabbit why not post on something that's not the grabbit board, eg shop but don't drop ?

Oooh, can't wait to hear what it is! Hope it's something to do with something I use/want, whatever it is!

Martin, please give us a clue!
  • Slate me if you want , but I'm all for genuine offers , no minimum spends etc but they used the right word when they said ''to help consumers exploit it''

I'm not into exploitation personally , yes , I make multiple purchases when allowed , yes I buy Tesco items if they are marked up at 1p but this finding a loophole to exploit leaves a bad taste in my mouth , sorry

I know I'm going to get a barrage of abuse for this but its just my personal opinion , thanks! :D:D

I'm not one of ''Lewis's army of followers'' and ''the retailers make millions already'' doesn't cut it with me , not when it means massive exploitation on a large scale which is what looks like is coming!!!

I didn't take part in the ''massive DTD loophole'' either - Personal choice once again!! So am sure we can all do what we want at the end of the day

Well, what other sectors are there?

    Banking
    Insurance (car, home, contents, life)
    Mobiles, telephony, broadband
    Electricals
    Utilities
    etc

My guess would be insurance. Hope so as car insurance is looking pretty exploitative at the moment.

I'm thinking probably insurance too, or possibly mobiles.

Don't think anything can beat the satisfaction of a good retail glitch/loophole though

I agree! I love the buzz of getting something for next to nothing, or even better, nothing! Not sure my store cupboards will take another DTD at the moment tho!

Sounds exciting....another DTD would be great although unlikely... I don't mind 'exploiting' shops, companies etc as they exploit us often enough.
    Born to glitch :D
