i cant use Liz Earle C&P it really irritates my skin, I use the muslin cloths and cleanse with oil
I use Aveeno, the one one with shea butter on my body and my face and it seems fine no irritated patches any more
I have a funny feeling my DD might not be able to as well, but got to give it a go, and as the Liz Earl assistant said if no improvement after about a week, i can get a refund!
If it doesnt work was going to try Aveeno next, Thanks0 -
I hope they do work for her, they certainly have for me although i appreciate everyone is different0

I suffered from exactly the same and have loads of sympathy. My eyes used to run and sting the sore skin. The only thing I found that worked was the Mega Mushroom range by Origins. Specifically the face serum and face cream. It isn't MSE though but is amazing. Cleared up my eczemaa under my eyes in 4 days!0

Eczema is no fun under any circumstances and is particularly not fun around the eyes.
The vaseline suggestion is a good one. More natural oils like the olive oil and almond oil others have mentioned might be useful too. I wouldn't agree with the person who ruled out mineral oil - it might be just the thing.
Another possibility which won't cost a fortune is trying some Lanolin BP. You might have to ask for it at a chemist's though I have bought it off the shelf at Superdrug not too long ago. It is not easy to apply but it gives the longest lasting effect of anything in my personal experience. If you can get on with it, it is a really handy thing to have up your sleeve.Student of the science of beauty0 -
Origins might give you a sample of the mega mushroom stuff if you explain that she's allergic to a lot of stuff. I've also used it and really liked it and I have rosacea.0

Dont want to speak (or write) too soon, but we are on day 3 with Liz Earle products and it appears to be working ...... she has woken up today without any redness around her eyes!
Convinced its definitely the products that she had been putting on her face which was aggrevating the excema and hoping that have found one which will not aggrevate her skin ...... muslin clothes arent great, hanging around, but hey if thats what it takes to sort her problem out sobeit.
Obviously, its not the cheapest of products to buy, but i suppose i have been lucky all my years and never suffered with any skin conditions, and have been able to use anything on my face. My poor DD is not so lucky!
Fingers crossed for the next few days0 -

So pleased they seem to be working. If it's any help through a process of elimination, i found products with lanolin in set me off in a serious way, (on my face) and also shower gels and bath products with sodium laurel sulphate in set me off too .
these days i generally stick to liz's products and very occasionally i deviate to something else ....but i do pay the price!0 -
Just wandering how your DD's skin is today? Is there any more improvement?

Sadly noBut, eyes are still not red though, but a bit of redness of her face ..... hoping this is just a blip, and will be ok again in the morning ...... when i asked her this morning, how her skin felt, she said definitely worth it, its improved loads and even though we bought the products for her, she wouldnt say that if she didnt think they were helping ..... she has really been suffering last few months.
Just keeping fingers crossed keeps on working well.0 -
Oh bless her. Its a lot of trial & error with the creams - & the problem is there are far too many on the market to choose from! As I mentioned in my post before maybe for £1.99 she could try a bit of the Aldi one & the Aveeno - that''s really great.
Hope it clears for her very soon x0
