Sorry, I am new to this, is this promotion still active, and can someone please provide the link. Also is there any time limit and do you need to enter all your shopping details or does it track the receipt number?

Hi, yes, the promotion is still active, but only really worth it if you generally shop at Tesco. It then allows you to buy items that Asda have on promotion and claim the price difference, thus benefitting from offers from both stores.
You really need also to buy items that are cheaper in Asda in a separate transaction as it compares your whole shop. So, split your shop, things cheaper (or the same) in Tesco's on one receipt & things cheaper (or the same) in Asda on another.

Then enter your receipt details of your cheaper in Asda shop here..https://www.tescopricecheck.com/PriceCheck/Pages/Default.aspx

Time limit is details must be entered within 28 days of your shop, the voucher will be valid for 28 days from the date you receive it.
Yes, you just have to enter your receipt number & not itemise your shop.
    Hope this helps.:)

PS. You have to check prices before you shop as they fluctuate. For example last week or so I received money back for Dr Oetker's pizza's when they were on offer at Asda, but this week they are cheaper at Tesco's.

I think I'm giving up on PriceCheck now as ASDA's Price Guarantee is so much better.

Just get so fed up of waiting for emails, things not matching (even though they do), and the grief instore when using the voucher.

(Even entering receipt details is easier on the APG because the cursor automatically forwards to the next box without having to manually tab it like on PriceCheck !!)

    ;) xx

I couldn't agree more with your 2nd paragraph.

When 'DTD' finished, I decided to carry on with 'Just the Difference' as our nearest Asda is about 25 miles away - I thought it would be useful to get the price-matched 'Asda Offers' locally at Mr T + of course the loyalty points.

However, my experience has been the same as yours - waiting ages for results to come back; receipts being 'lost'; if they do come back - most of the shop not price-matched & showing as n/a (when I'm confident it was an exact match of brand/size etc.) Finally, the growing hostility in the stores towards anyone using a voucher is frankly quite scary. I've decided it's just no longer worth the aggro (even for wombled receipts). I had a good run with 'DTD' & will just draw a line under it now.

Are Tesco staff stupid? They should just be putting their foot down and telling these customers "If you don't let us keep the receipt you're not using the voucher" and be done with it. All this faff just because some people want to keep their receipts - fine, let them keep them, but refuse to accept their vouchers! Customers can have one or the other. Not exactly rocket science is it?!

But the law says that the receipt belongs to the customer and they need to keep it in case they should have to return anything featured on the receipt.

    It's only a game

Shoppers might not be happy for the receipts to be confiscated but ought to give no objections to getting them signed.
It is a simple enough thing for the SA to do. It would stop those that are wilfully defrauding the system.

Grrr ...Tesco's !!""*^&!! Used a td voucher on an online shop for the first time on Wednesday. The driver took it, along with the receipt. They refunded 3 x returned items but no mention of the pricecheck voucher.

Just phoned them up to be offered an e-coupon as my store are unable to contact the driver at present. Said I wasn't happy with this as I was expecting it off of THIS order plus it means me doing another online order, plus delivery costs (so Tesco get even more of my money!). They are to get the store to ring me tomorrow instead. What a shambles. I've only got one voucher left now, thankfully - then will be going elsewhere.

    Rant over - I think.

update: Tesco didn't ring me yesterday as promised, so I phoned again today and they refunded straightaway, thankfully.

I'm having another delivery tomorrow and using my last pricecheck voucher (I know - but I'm not well enough to go instore unfortunately and the voucher runs out tomorrow).
This time I'm prepared though. I've scanned the voucher and receipt and will get the driver to sign that he has taken them. I might also see if he can just sign the receipt and give it back to me, if possible.

A bit OTT I know but it is Tesco's we are talking about:)

Just had my delivery and got the delivery man to sign my scanned voucher, just in case!

I also noticed a glitch on Fray Bentos pies - I've posted it on the grabbit board.

    Hi BBB!

I am sooooo fed up of Tescos price checker. I have a handbagful of wombles which I'm not bothering to enter as I am waiting on so many AGAIN.

I have only had the opportunity to enter 2 receipts on asdas and it was such a breeze.

Tesco could learn a lot from them,

My new asda (which I was so excited about!) is a ibt disappointing as it is so dinky. The layout is like a kwik save. The car park is titchy and cannot cope and, worst of all, void of discarded receipts
