Anyone had tesco price check voucher through today?

i put mine in from 17th june and have tried resubmitting a few times, getting the message already submitted wait 36 hours have now had several emails telling me they can't find my receipt details.

What makes me steam is that they can fix other problems within a couple of hours when it is costing THEM.

For instance, this morning 2 boxes of beer/cider were going through at £4 (instead of taking off £4 they were charging you £4 hence £2 a box!). This glitch was fixed at noon.

How long is this issue regarding emails going yo continue for before it's rectified? They are NOT matching Asda prices as advertised as the refunds are not forthcoming.

I have just re entered all of my receipts AGAIN and noticed this....


They have changed the wording on the 'processing' page. It used to say to expect a reply within 36 hours at the latest. This promise has now disappeared.
So whatever is going on, it is DELIBERATE and not a system error/flaw etc.

They really do seem to be trying to snuff it out quietly.

Yes, I noticed that also Jumblejack. Im still waiting for about 40 wombles (doubt much to come back) and a military shop from Friday. How can it possibly take them so long? I prefer the consistency of Asda but the litter pickers have upped their game in my local and the car park is a lot clearer than it used to be.

surely, whilst lucrative at the start to us savvy shoppers, this promotion has got to go down in Tesco history as a bumbling mess.

I've officially given up this time. Am totally peeved off waiting for sTrESCO's to get their act together. Bouncy round objects to them... (bah!)

I asked a very friendly SA (dont get many of them around, but shes in obsessed with my baby so lets all my bargains slide) if they know why the vouchers/emails were slow.

Apparently its due to fraudulent use of them, the stores are struggling to tell genuine new ones from recycled ones. Shoppers arent happy for the stores to keep reciepts which is causing probs.

Some stores have been defrauded big time and tesco have called in the 'fraud squad' so at the moment the techy bods are trying to find a new way to produce the vouchers / make them tamper proof ....:cool:

Aha! We will have to see what happens. Wonder how long before they are up n running again.

Just received some of mine from Sunday - just awaiting three more now.

(Shan't bother entering yesterdays receipts which have the Tesco Lager Glitch on them, though. lol).

Got one from Saturday through at 5.37 am this morning. (The hamsters were obviously up early.)
