    Update: There is a video on making home - made laundry powder on the Dri Pak website. In it, it's mentioned that borax is no longer available in the UK, but borax substitute, as sold by Dri-Pak is.

    Dagnabbit, I knew I'd seen it somewhere, oh well, never mind. The one I cobbled together worked perfectly. :D

    Still have only bought one bottle of stardrops during the whole challenge.was stocked up beforehand though, but think this is quite good going:D:D

  • For anyone that does not want to make there own washing powder, I bought this about 18 months ago and will not need any till about the new year.
