Och I can make you a card if you like. I am just new to the business but have various cards in my boxes.....all my own photography (saves worrying about copyright

Yep my bf is still in bed, best to let him sleep! Just me and the kitten looking for stuff to eBay! everytime I try to take a picture Billy wants to be in it! lol
I have made my best friends wedding anniversary gift as it's glass this year...
What do you think?
I made it using glue and embossing powder and the back is sticky back plastic with pink glitter but it's silver glitter on the other side
there's a little tag on it which says happy anniversary and I restrug it and sowed the bow on myself
Just £1.99 in hobbycraft so not bad!

Aww thanks guys, I have my own special 'arts and crafts' room and everything - thanks to my darling bf!
I used a simple pen glue, it works really really well! I have made announcement cards with mine and the bf's initials entwined similar to what his parents had when they got engaged, used the powder and glue too.. I'll post a pic of my wedding invites too
would love to start selling stuff but don't have the guys yet! I've asked for a die cutting machine for my bday this year
As for the kitten, think I'll add him in the listings, see what I get for him lol! As if!
The birthday party was super cute, all hello kitty themed- my favourite! Did my overtime too so that's another £21 in the debt fund!
Hope everyone didn't get too wet today xxxLife is too short not to love what you do.0 -
Hi all
Just nipping in as I'm having a very busy and social weekend...literally doing a whole month's worth of socialising in one weekend and I'm not going out again for the rest of the month, I refuse!!!
Yesterday I:
- Did what felt like 1758 surveys, but may have been more like 15
- Checked One Poll
- Checked my bank for the Body Shop refund - wasn't there!
- Went to my friend's house for her birthday 'do' - this was very MSE of all of us because we were going to go for a meal in town, then decided no-one could afford it, so we went round early, went for one drink (£4.99 - it was a cocktail
) and then back to hers as we'd all brought stuff round to make a Mexican feast! I made a salsa and Mexican Rice, they made fajitas and corn on the cob. She even made a delicious pineapple and coconut cake with coconut cream (our own made up recipe after lots of wine - it was yummy!).
Today I will:
[STRIKE]- Check bank just in case Body Shop refund has gone in, sometimes they show on a Sunday[/STRIKE] It hasn't
[STRIKE]- Play around with budgets and make sure I got the new one right, then update all the monthlies with new figures[/STRIKE] I managed to leave off car insurance, what a doofus! Still, about 3 happy hours spent playing with budgets today, I can't get enough of it!!!
[STRIKE]- Amend "Moving Savings" DD for end of June payday based on playing around with budgets, should be able to put in more than the £5 I planned![/STRIKE] After playing with budgets I currently reckon £95...not sure where I've managed to save so much - we'll see if I can survive next month on the lower budgets!!!
[STRIKE]- MEAL PLAN!!![/STRIKE] Close enough, I have two batch cook ideas, I'll work it out!
[STRIKE]- Shopping list based on above[/STRIKE] Written out, ready go!
[STRIKE]- Do a small shop - aiming for about £12[/STRIKE] £12.99!!! Can't complain at that!!! :j
[STRIKE]- Get the money back off my friend when I see her at coffee later, for the drinks I ended up paying for, for her on Friday (cash bar, she only had a card on her) - should be £12 but expect she'll give me a tenner, I'm happy with that, she's normally very generous!!![/STRIKE] She gave me all £12 back, yay!
[STRIKE]- Do Shop and Scan and receipt[/STRIKE] Ha, cuttingit fine, submitted at like 11pm last night!
[STRIKE]- Check for surveys again[/STRIKE] Did one - quiet day!
[STRIKE]- Shirts on Eco 40 and hang to dry[/STRIKE] Done and put away
[STRIKE]- Darks on 30 and hang to dry[/STRIKE] Done but actually was 2 loads of dark, so one is done, hung to dry and half of it dried overnight, so is now put away and half is still drying
[STRIKE]- PUT CLOTHES AWAY WHEN DRY!!! I'm crap at this and they get all crumpled in the basket!!![/STRIKE]
Think that's it, no time today!!!
Perni - thanks, my weekend has certainly been good and taken my mind off all the rubbish I was getting bogged down in, so I'm MUCH happier now! Thank you so much for thinking of me
x
rdchick - your creation looks amazing and really professional! I'm very impressed, if I tried that it would look like a five year old did it! :rotfl:
Have a good Sunday all... oh, and by the way, it's also been hammering down constantly here since I woke at 8am as well!
LC x
All done, hurrah!
Perni - Yep it worked really well and was fun with us all sharing the cooking and the kitchen! I've not been here for ages, we've started a small things thread on MFW so I tend to post there, but I remember fondly a lot of the tips from here. Does anyone want cravendale codes? I have a a handful going spare but wanted to offer them before I just post them on the main cravendale thread.
Katsu
I'd love the codes if you still have them
Thanks
