Had a lovely day :) Got to Bristol midday and we gave my friend and her OH their baby present, which they loved :) they hadn't got any of the little stuff yet (bibs, dummies, cotton wool, baby shampoo, bottle brushes etc) so were very pleased and grateful. Then we went out to a lovely Italian restaurant that did huge pizzas for £6. she lives in a flat like mine in a marina area so we had a little walk around, then headed back to their flat for a 4 hour gossip! Her OH disappeared then :rotfl:. It was a lovely chilled day.

just in from work. Went quite quickly today:j

Discovered that yesterdays shift had eaten our chicken(to make curry) and there was no money left in the purse to replace it so being a good little OSer I managed to pull together a nice veggie curry and rice followed by tinned fruit and jelly:) Nobody will ever starve on my shift!;)

we have a budget for food but it seems to go nowhere at the moment.
Think we'll be cutting out a lot of treats that they take for granted at work and sticking to a more basic menu - am just waiting for the comments from staff! Luckily several of us are good at baing so we'll make sure thee is the odd nice pudding or cake.

Lou - hope you're feeling better and also JackieG and family x

off for a soak in the bath - back in at work for 7am tomorrow.
    take care all x
