    morning!

off to work later so just doing a few jobs this morning - had a lie in and read my book first which is my favourite way to start the day!:)

After a few problems with the heating and hot water after the plumbers visit it all seems to be going well now fingers crossed:T

WM is on, sunny here so far. We too had a huge storm with hail stones yesterday.

Over the last 3 days I've found 3 dead little baby birds in the garden:( poor little mites, its really upsetting. I have to get DH to remove them cos I'm ever so squeamish.

Had a nice visit from DS1 yesterday - he's seems to be a bit better and the pub has actually paid him at last.:)

(((hugs))) to those in need esp GTM x x

    JackieG - hope you are all better soon(thanks NPM) x x x

Lou - hope you're feeling better today x

Essexgirl - hope you're on the mend too x

Hope everyone has a great weekend x
    Do what you love :happyhear

Poor Lou was sick all night, stopped about one, but has started again, her OH was calling NHS24 in case she has caught something, or is getting dehydrated (she also has a history of kidney infections), and I haven't heard back from her since that happened, I am hoping that means she's gone to get looked at. I will let you know how she is if she doesn't, herself. x

    Hi all
Back again, I'm clearing all the downstairs floors this morning, I've done the study, next is the living room. Hubby is at work, he'll phone soon to let me know how late he'll be. I've stocked up on peanut butter & cheese spread ready for visiting grandchildren. I've moved loads of tubs around in the garden so some of the nicer flowery ones are nearer the front ready fo next week.
It's sunny here now, but not warm so it's comfortable to work in.
    Hugs Hester

Not much OS for me today unless I do some sewing,as we're out with friends for a meal tonight. It has just rained all over DS summer duvet on the line:(-put it on the other day but he said it made him itch,he had it in his wardrobe so perhaps its dusty, though looking at it hung up the filling looks a bit shredded ,may need to get a new one.
We wanted to go on a Manchester to Blackpool classic car run tomorrow, but DH won't take his precious baby out if there is any chance of rain ;).Not been out in it this year :(
Right,I'm off to brew up again.Take care all x

    Morning All,

Bramble and Redruby thanks for the wedding suggestions we will have a look today. Paperchase did have packs of 10 for £3 but only one kind so will have a look around
    Gintomelda big ((((hugs))))

Got washing out but it does look as if its clouding over.
All you lucky people with veg, we have had one strawberry so far:D it was delish though. We are always later in the north but will have a glut of veg and fruit later in the summer.

A busy day today as the house really needs a proper clean and already stripped my bed and will do the others once they are out of their pits lol.

It is the annual fun day at our local park so may visit later but don't fancy traipsing around in the rain, although all the kids plan a visit.

Just done my first survey so will b a millionaire in no time:cool:

My tan has started to fade so not so attractive now, hubby says I look like a fence that needs creasoting :rotfl:

    Have a happy Saturday all J x

House is clean! There is a wash on, I'm clean too as i had a bath, just need to dry my hair and take grumpy pups out for a walk. He's in a mood as OH hasn't take him to work for the 4th day on the trot! He tried to run out the door this morning before OH noticed but it didn't work. So he's been sulking. Hopefully a walk to the lake and a swim will cheer him up!

Just had a big bowl of porridge lets see how long it will keep me going!

I want something nice to do with my hair tonight, any suggestions where to find any tutorials or anything? Or any ideas for mid length hair thats not a pony tail ,or down?
