Unfortunately the days of everything selling for a good price on ebay are over. I stopped risking low starts a long time ago. I start at the very lowest i would be happy to accept.
But as you said - if an item does sell at a low price - you take it on the chin and post it.0 -
Ditto all previous comments. Not only does she not get how eBay works she's abusive too. Go through the corrent channels OP, the sooner she gets kicked off the better.£2 Savers Club 2016 #21 £14/£250

It happens quite a lot. Take this for example - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=250831445856&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT it went for £2750 but oh no... that wasn't good enough so days later...... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=250835795212
I'm the complete opposite though, if i win something and i consider it too cheap i won't even send payment till i get an invoice. If they're happy to let it go so cheap they'll send me the invoice but if they're really don't want to sell it so cheap and i'm not massively bothered about buying it then i'll give them the chance to pull out after the sale.0 -
I had the same happon to me, I won a Miele tumbe dryer for £60 only 6 months old it was worth £700! She called me after 2 days saying it had a fault all of a sudden and she will be relisting as spairs (she never did!!) anyway she said in the end she wanted to leave the deal. I left negative feedback stating my reasons she then put a NON PAYMENT MARKER on me! (I was going to pay on collection) I contacted ebay whot removed the marker and her negative feedback the whole system is a joke. As the item is legaly yours when you won the auction.EVERYTIME YOU THANK MY POSTS A PUPPY DIES!
TAXPAYERS CAN'T AFFORD TO KEEP YOU ANYMORE GET A JOB!0 -
i don't think it's legally yours until you pay for the item.0

You could have paid through Paypal & then reported her a non performing seller. You would then have still been able to leave neg FB.
Your money would have been refunded through Paypal, so it would have been safe.0 -

Sellers should list at the lowest price they're happy with. I wouldn't let someone out of the deal without giving them a NPS strike.
Most of us have let something/s start too low, crossed our fingers & hoped for the best.
When it goes belly up we should sell at the highest bid or take the consequences.0 -
I do think Ebay is getting worse and worse, sellers really should put the lowest price they are happy at receiving. I have little bouts of selling stuff when I have a clearout and have been disappointed at the amount I got for some items (99p!!) but it's an auction and you have to accept that. Another top will come along....0

I just bought 7 gorgeous 4 panel doors (1930s) for 99p. Felt a little embarrassed paying her a pound but did tell her to keep the change. She was a lovely lady and said you win some you lose some.Morgage till Nov 30 GOAL MFW Sept 2016Aug 11 - £100k Aug 2016.... It's GONE!!!!!

Or it's a heap of rubbish and he can't shift it.
