Miss you all.
Nice to see you back Bookie. Right some jobs to find today and a bit of gardening to do. Tidying, basically, if the sun stays out.

I think there are no real superwomen like that out there. It is all about trade offs: e.g. well paid jobs are generally somewhat stressful or involve long hours, giving less time to keep your house perfect and always cook from scratch.
I think you can't have everything absolutely perfect ever, never mind at once. As ZTD said, you need to work out which ones you want most - so some people earn less but have more time at home, other people pay someone to help with the housework from their wages (i'm thinking of doing this one). Honestly, the perfect live is a life you are happy with, not a life where you are like some scarey pefect woman robot!
I love my life and my DH, but that is because I enjoy what it is, and have worked at worrying less about what it isn't. We'll never have your 2.5 kids, but we enjoy the life we have together.Debt at highest: £8k. Debt Free 31/12/2009. Original MFD May 2036, MF Dec 2018.0 -

I feel exactly the same way Kayleigh, the worst thing is it all seems very obtainable if I just pushed myself a bit more or stuck to anything for longer then five minutes!

I just seem very dissatisfied with my lot at the moment. The NE seems to have an absolute dearth of jobs at the moment and I can't survive on the money I have coming in. Going to see my dad tomorrow and I am absolutely dreading it - is this just a temporary glitch while I get a foot wedged in the door or am I going to find it an absolute nightmare to get a job because there aren't any local ones and the distant ones will employ someone local to them. We will be having a serious chat (not helped by the fact we have a difficult relationship anyway with serious issues of respect) and I don't think I'll be coming away feeling like a 44 year old woman in charge of her life.
Do have about 5 jobs to apply for all over the place. But there appears to be NO bar jobs in the North East. Honestly it could be a comedy if it wasn't so tragic.
Feeling very flat.
