• By the way Aussie - can't see your pics BUT I think wanty's explanation was only partly right. I can't see any pics at all when I log on from work because photohosting sites are blocked from our network. So I automatically get only the square with a red cross in it as described by wanty. BUT I CAN ONLY SEE ONE SQUARE WITH A CROSS IN IT which suggests that only one pic exists.

Morning Chums ,
have a busy morning this morning ,just got the last of my Christmas cards to do and get in the post then off to our local Church at lunchtime to see the Grandsons in their Christmas nativity play .Then I am going to my local shopping centre with my SIL to buy my DD birthday pressie .I have been so busy this last week I haven't had time to get to the shhops .
One bit of good news though, our little Tilly-Grace who was born ten weeks prem. is fighting well, and has come off the ventilator thanks to the wonderful staff at the John Radcliffe hospital in Oxford .It has been touch and go but she is 4 weeks old today and every day she gets a wee bit stronger. My sis-in-law phoned just now with the good news it is her little granddaughter.
Hugs for those that need them have a good day
Awww JackieO that's fantastic news, and such a beautiful name. :D The staff at JR are amazing, my mum was in intensive care there for 2 weeks, 14 years ago - and it really opened my eyes to how much dedication those nurses have to their profession.

:j I can see both pictures and it is a lovely floor!

Just about to put on washing machine and then get dressed and write and post Christmas cards this afternoon.

DD comes back fron uni at the weekend ! Yippee!:j

So glad to hear about tilly.

Will just muddle through today as I do not intend to get stressed.

The books I got for DD to give as presents were so popular that I ordered another set - think she has a lot of friend's parties etc in January and still has another three presents for Christmas to give.

Hugs to all

Morning everyone :)

Feeling well rested today even though I had a bad night as I got to have a lay-in. Poor ds is not well at all, he was sick in the night, lost his voice and has a raging temperature, so is still at home today. He only has monday at school before they break up.

Aussielass - I'm loving those floors! I've had my eye on the wooden floor for my dream (in my dreams!) Sydney house. We would love to build our own house but I think we will have to go for a do-er-upper as we want to live fairly centrally.

Plans for today are to pop to the shops for more wrapping paper as a consignment of presents from the NZ side of the family have arrived from amazon, which I then wrap for the children. Pack some more ebay parcels and take those to the post office and then take dd to the park.

I don't think I have said hello to all of the new members who have joined the thread - please stay!

(((Hugs))) to Melt and OH and OH's mum.

I like your floor Aussie!

Been to Hawkin, was home for 9.45 :). It was really lovely going in that early - hardly anyone there. I didn't even mind when the card network went down and I had to go and get cash out. Got my Dads present sorted now :j. Although the stocking fillers I bought for OH - none of them will fit in the stocking

Thanks guys. You all have excellent taste. :D

Gin Gin There not real timber floors. It's lino to look like it is. ;) We had real timber floors in our last house. They are awful to keep clean, never again. You would wash them and by afternoon you could see the dust settling already.

Off to the shops tomorrow morning with DD to do xmas shopping. She got a very nice bonus from work today and she's shouting me m'tea. Just picked them up from the ferry before and she's had a few. :D Been at her work party. Have a great day everyone. Byeeeeeeeeeee
Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia. ;)
